  • Patent number: 11787363
Abstract: In a vehicle emergency, a spool of a webbing take-up device is rotated in a pull-out direction such that a main lock is displaced toward a rotation-radial direction outside of the spool and engages with a clutch gear configuring a first rotation body. Rotation of the spool in the pull-out direction is thus restricted. Also in a vehicle emergency, the first rotation body is rotated in a take-up direction of the spool such that the main lock engages with the first rotation body, and rotation force of the first rotation body is transmitted to the spool through the main lock and the spool is rotated in the take-up direction.

  • Publication number: 20220001833
Abstract: A webbing retractor includes: a take-up shaft on which a webbing that is applied to a vehicle occupant can be taken-up, and on which the webbing is taken-up due to the take-up shaft being rotated in a take-up direction, and that is rotated in a pull-out direction due to the webbing being pulled-out; a restricting member that, by being operated, restricts rotation of the take-up shaft in the pull-out direction; a sensing section that senses a pulled-out state of the webbing; and a control section that, in a case in which the sensed pulled-out state corresponds to a state in which the webbing is pulled-out to a predetermined position, operates the restricting member and restricts rotation of the take-up shaft.

  • Patent number: 11097687
Abstract: A webbing retractor includes a spool, a motor, a force limiter mechanism, a first rotating body, a second rotating body, a ratchet gear, a pawl body and a control section. The ratchet gear is provided at one of the first rotating body or the second rotating body. The pawl body is provided at another of the first rotating body or the second rotating body. The pawl body can engage with the ratchet gear in a case in which the first rotating body rotates toward one side, and engagement of the pawl body with the ratchet gear being cancelled in a case in which the first rotating body rotates toward another side. The control section drives the motor to rotate in reverse, such that the first rotating body rotates toward another side in a case in which a physical amount relating to load of the passenger exceeds a predetermined value during forward rotational driving.

  • Publication number: 20210114550
Abstract: In a webbing take-up device, when a lock tooth of a pawl is being rotated toward a lock base, a leading end of the lock tooth is rotated to between leading ends of ratchet teeth of the lock base. This enables the leading end of the lock tooth to be suppressed from colliding with the leading ends of the ratchet teeth.

  • Publication number: 20200276957
Abstract: A seatbelt use determination device includes: a sensor section configured to detect insertion of a seatbelt tongue into a seatbelt buckle; a detection section configured to detect rotation of a take-up section for taking up a webbing; and a notification section that is configured to, when insertion of the tongue into the buckle has been detected by the sensor section, use a detection result of the detection section to determine a predetermined improper use of the webbing and to provide notification of the improper use. When insertion of the tongue into the buckle has been detected by the sensor section, the notification section is configured to determine improper use and to notify of the improper use in cases in which a time period during which a rotation change amount per unit time of the take-up section is continuously less than a predetermined value is longer than a predetermined first threshold.

  • Patent number: 10744974
Abstract: In a webbing take-up device, a cover member is disposed on the inner side of a second peripheral wall of a second housing member. Due thereto, an outer side surface of a third peripheral wall of the cover member and an inner side surface of the second peripheral wall of the second housing member oppose each other in a radial direction of urging, which is a radial direction of rotation of rotational urging force of a flat spiral spring, so displacement of the cover member outward in the radial direction of urging can be suppressed.

  • Patent number: 10688957
Abstract: In a lift-up buckle device, a slider and a shoe move forward and a buckle is moved to a stowed position. The shoe impacts against a protruding portion at a lower portion of a damper and interferes with a housing via the lower portion of the damper. Thus, the forward movement of the slider and shoe is stopped, while the damper absorbs an impact against the slider and shoe. Therefore, an amount of the impact against the slider and shoe that is absorbed by the damper may be increased by the protruding portion, and the damper may absorb the impact against the slider and shoe effectively.

  • Patent number: 10654443
Abstract: A webbing take-up device includes clutch weights. The clutch weights are supported at the base and include engaging portions. The clutch weights move to a rotation diameter direction outer side when the base is rotated, and are capable of transmitting rotary force applied to the base to the spool. The webbing take-up device is provided with a stopper that is capable of relative rotating relative to the base and that is provided with engaged holes, each including an allowing portion and a restricting portion. The allowing portions allow movement of the engaging portions to the rotation diameter direction outer side when the base is rotating to one side. The restricting portions restrict movement of the engaging portions to the rotation diameter direction outer side when the base is rotating to the other side. The restricting portions are formed integrally with the allowing portions.

  • Patent number: 10464523
Abstract: In a webbing take-up device, an angle from one end portion toward another end portion of a second clutch spring in a direction of winding of a coil portion from the one end portion toward the another end portion of the second clutch spring is 270°. Therefore, in a case in which the one end portion of the second clutch spring is rotated toward a side of the direction of the winding of the coil portion, one end side portion of the second clutch spring is displaced so as to bulge-out toward a side opposite to a side toward which another end side portion bulges-out.

  • Patent number: 10457248
Abstract: A webbing take-up device includes a spool on which a webbing worn by an occupant is taken up, and a motor that includes a rotor with a rotation shaft and a motor housing covering part of the rotor, the rotor being urged toward one axial direction side of the rotation shaft with respect to the motor housing. The webbing take-up device further includes a second transmission mechanism that includes an A-gear fixed to the rotation shaft, and a B-gear meshed together with the A-gear and rotated by the A-gear being rotated toward one side together with the rotation shaft such that the spool is rotated. A helix angle of respective outer teeth of the A-gear is set such that an axial direction force toward the one axial direction side of the rotation shaft acts on the A-gear when the rotation shaft is rotated toward the one side.

  • Patent number: 10399538
Abstract: In a buckle device, a pressing force, applied from wire ropes to an inside wall face of a wire guide groove of a wire guide, is along an imaginary line passing through a center of a cover plate first hole portion of a cover plate fixing tab of a cover plate and a center of a wire guide hole portion of the wire guide as viewed from the vehicle inside, similarly to a pressing force applied to a first fixing bolt that fixes the cover plate to a support plate, and these pressing forces are both oriented in the same direction. This enables rotation moment to be suppressed from occurring at the cover plate when the wire ropes are pulled toward their length direction leading end side.
