  • Patent number: 6003563
Abstract: A three-dimensional weaving machine that enables biased yarn guide blocks to be reduced in size and their movement to be simplified and that reliably feeds biased yarns is described. A three-dimensional mechanism contains 2N guide blocks (13), each including a biased yarn through-hole (15) extending along the length direction. A guide block receiving and supporting device (18) forms guide block arrangement spaces (S1), (S2), and (S3) in a bottom stage, a middle stage, and a top stage wherein N of the 2N guide blocks can be arranged in each stage parallel with, and adjacent to, one another. A guide block moving device (22) is provided for moving the guide blocks in each stage in opposite directions along the respective stages, and a shifting device (44) operates for simultaneously shifting two adjacent sets of guide blocks movably arranged in the respective guide block arrangement spaces, each by one stage.

  • Patent number: 5850868
Abstract: A casting method is disclosed in which a resin core is fabricated by using a resin which maintains a mechanical strength satisfying a shape accuracy required for a cast product until solidification of molten metal in contact with the core and is softened when heated beyond the core temperature at which the molten metal in contact with the core was solidified. The removal of the resin core from the cast product after the cast product containing the core from a die, includes a step of forcedly cooling the cast product containing the core down to a predetermined temperature at which the resin core can be removed from the cast product without being broken apart by pulling one of its ends, and a step of withdrawing the core at the predetermined temperature from the cast product having been forcedly cooled down. It is thus possible to cool the core down to a predetermined temperature suited for the withdrawal and preclude the inconvenience that the core being pulled is broken apart.

  • Patent number: 5722855
Abstract: In a connector having first and second connecting cylinders and a split clamp, the first cylinder has a pressing portion projecting inwardly radially from the inside of one end thereof and an annular portion extending axially forwardly from one end thereof. The second cylinder has a conductive pressed portion opposing the pressing portion when connected to the first cylinder. The clamp is sandwiched between the pressing and pressed portions and held by the annular portion. When the clamp is pressed by the pressing portion in association with the connection of the cylinders, it clamps one end of an outer conductor of a coaxial cable in cooperation with the pressed portion.
