Abstract: There are provided an image printing system and an image processing method which can perform printing control for a unit pixel without losing a positional relationship between a dot arrangement pattern and a mask pattern even when index processing and mask processing are executed independently from each other. For this purpose, an index start position command (901) is transmitted, and the mask pattern is arranged such that the top of the mask pattern matches a top raster of a received index processing start position when the mask processing is executed. Thereby, it becomes possible to securely execute the printing control for a unit pixel without losing the positional relationship between the dot arrangement pattern and the mask pattern which are generated in association with each other.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus of the present invention includes a first circuit which creates image data on the basis of print job data, a second circuit which causes a printing unit to print an image on the basis of the image data created by the first circuit and is different from the first circuit, and a storage capable of being accessed by the first circuit and the second circuit, respectively. Additionally, when data is transferred in the first circuit and the second circuit, one circuit writes the data in the storage, and the other circuit reads out the data to transfer the data, thereby executing printing of an image.

Abstract: Provided are a non-reciprocal unit used for a polarization dependent type optical isolator and a polarization dependent type optical isolator that are simple in structure, can prevent damages due to light and heat and can obtain a high extinction ratio. In a polarization dependent type optical isolator, an input side lens (first lens) (5), a first birefringence unit (7), a Faraday rotator (9), a second birefringence unit (11) and an output side lens (second lens) (15) are arranged from the input side to the output side. A transmission result storage stores transmission result data that includes quality information and time information, the quality information relating to an image quality, the time information indicating when the updated image data is generated. Abstract: An image forming apparatus forms a toner image onto sheets at the first feeding interval on a photoconductor or intermediate transfer member and, if the temperature of a fixing unit falls outside a set temperature range, the sheet layout is changed to a feeding interval wider than the first feeding interval. Adjustment processing is performed based on the image forming condition so that the feeding interval is changed to a wider one in the feeding interval changing step during image formation and it is determined in the determination step to perform adjustment processing, toner patch images are formed in an area where no toner image is formed on the photoconductor or intermediate transfer member . The adjustment processing is performed based on reading toner patch images.

A storage device stores compression properties information associating a plurality of compression schemes with a plurality of classes of graphical user interface (GUI) components. Abstract: There is disclosed a wireless communication apparatus which provides a plurality of images stored in a storage to an initiating wireless communication apparatus through wireless communications. A reception unit receives an image acquisition request transmitted from the initiating wireless communication apparatus. The request conforms to a camera control protocol for exchanging information relating to images. A selection unit selects, in response to the image acquisition request, one of the plurality of images stored in the storage. A transmission unit then transmits a response to the initiating wireless communication apparatus in accordance with the camera control protocol. Information relating to the one of the plurality of images that is selected by the selection unit is contained in the response.

Abstract: In an image forming apparatus capable of automatically detecting an abnormality therein, thus interrupting the operation and executing a recovery operation after the abnormal state is released, a starting position of a recovery image formation desired by a user within an object page of recovery is inputted; an address of image data, corresponding to the recovery start position input by way of the input unit is determined; and an image data corresponding to the address of the recovery image data, determined by the address determining unit, is read, and the image formation is re-started after the release of the abnormality. According to the present invention, the mage forming apparatus can achieve a saving in consumables in the recovery operation and output a recovered image with a satisfactory appearance for the user.
