  • Publication number: 20200268333
Abstract: Described are methods and systems for scanning at least a portion of a patient with a gamma detector mounted on an arm extending towards the patient. One described method includes: obtaining data indicative or coordinates of points on the outer surface of the patient; determining a target position for the gamma detector based on the data indicative, of the coordinates; and causing the gamma detector to detect gamma radiation from the patient when the gamma detector is at the target position.

  • Publication number: 20200117319
Abstract: A system and method for dynamically generating a web page is disclosed. The web page includes a frame having content cells. Content for the content cells is provided based in part on business rules. A business rules engine processes, in real-time, an online interaction and determines appropriate content for the content cells. The business rules engine outputs a pointer to the content which is used to populate the content cell.

  • Publication number: 20200060827
Abstract: An anchoring system and related methods are provided for treatment of dilated hearts and of functional valve regurgitation, the system comprising one or more self-expandable or manually expandable anchors and associated devices for fixating a valve splint within the heart. For example, a spade-shaped assembly may be configured to be deployed in a right ventricle of the heart and to stabilize a puncturing instrument to puncture the septum. Various puncturing instruments may also be part of the anchoring system, including one or more of a flexible needle having a multiplicity of slits disposed along the length of the needle, a trocar catheter with a retractable head, and a catheter needle having a blunt introducer to protect nearby tissue within the heart during advancing a guidewire. A cutter catheter and puncture location catheter may also be part of the system and be used during treatment.

  • Patent number: 10339582
Abstract: To measure the increase in location awareness for an organization's locations using a map display, a server device identifies each of the locations belonging to an organization and applies a random filter to select a subset of the locations. An indication of the organization is presented on a map display at each of the selected organization locations within the subset. When an indication of the organization location is presented to a user a threshold number of times, an icon such as a question mark may be presented in place of the indication at the organization location. The icon may provide a link to a location awareness survey which may request that the user identifies the organization corresponding to the location. Several users may receive the location awareness survey for the same organization location and the users' answers may then be analyzed to determine a location awareness metric.

  • Patent number: 8326684
Abstract: A system for publishing a sponsor-comment together with content of a publisher that is associated with a particular file. A code segment is included in the particular file. A database relates a plurality of keywords with one or more sponsors. A registration module is operative to register one or more channels of the publisher, each said channel including at least one of the plurality of files. A communication module is operative to receive a sponsor-comment across the network. A comment management module is operative to selectively associate the sponsor-comment with the particular file in accordance with at least one criterion accessible to one or more of the servers. Upon opening each respective file in a browser of a client machine, the code segment executes to cause the browser to include in the display the sponsor-comment together with the publisher-content. Variations of systems and methods that publish sponsor comments are disclosed.
