  • Publication number: 20230389874
Abstract: The present disclosure provides electroretinography devices configured to detect biopotential signals from an eye of a subject. In some embodiments, the device is configured to prevent the subject's eyelids from closing over the device when placed in contact with the anterior surface of the subject's eye. In some embodiments, the device has a Young's modulus of no more than about 50 MPa. In some embodiments, the device includes a diffusing or refracting element configured to scatter, focus or diverge incident light. In other embodiments, the device includes a void through which incident light can enter the subject's eye without passing through any portion of the device.

  • Publication number: 20220296806
Abstract: Infusion fluid is flowed through a fluid delivery line of an infusion system. Optical signals having different wavelengths are transmitted through the fluid delivery line. The transmitted optical signals having the different wavelengths are received. At least one processor determines whether air or infusion fluid is disposed in the fluid delivery line based on the received optical signals having the different wavelengths.

  • Patent number: 11324888
Abstract: An infusion system determines a volumetric flow rate of infusion fluid delivered by an infusion pump along a flow path based on: an upstream acoustic signal emitted by at least one upstream acoustic sensor and detected by at least one downstream acoustic sensor; a downstream acoustic signal emitted by the downstream acoustic signal and detected by the upstream acoustic sensor; and a phase delay between the upstream acoustic signal and the downstream acoustic signal either upstream or downstream. The infusion system automatically adjusts the infusion pump based on the determined volumetric flow rate to achieve a desired volumetric flow rate of the infusion fluid along the flow path.
