  • Patent number: 11921569
Abstract: A technical problem faced when remotely controlling or debugging electronic devices is that remote control or debugging often requires a direct connection. However, debugging ports are inaccessible on many devices. Technical solutions described herein provide systems and methods for secure communication via existing communication infrastructure (e.g., public instant messenger (IM)), providing various debugging abilities including debugging and file sharing. Technical solutions described herein also provide systems and methods for debugging based on remote device memory state collection and sending for embedded or IoT devices. This solution avoids a hardware debugging connection by using a debugging methodology resident on the device to read and dump the relevant memory, registers, and other device state information in a secure and automated manner.

  • Patent number: 10803400
Abstract: A self-adaptive security framework for a device is disclosed. A first security level for a device is set wherein the first security level comprises procedures that authenticate a user and allow the user to access the device. Input from sensors associated with the device may be received at a contextual sensing engine, wherein the input at least includes location data, and wherein at least a portion of the input is related to a physical setting where the device is located. A threat level for the device is determined in the physical setting via the contextual sensing engine based on analyzing the input. The first security level is altered to a second security level to provide an altered threat response for the device based on the threat level wherein the second security level has different procedures to authenticate the user compared to the first security level.

  • Patent number: 10796548
Abstract: In embodiments, one or more non-transitory computer-readable storage media comprise a set of instructions, which, when executed on a processor of a server, causes the server to receive sensor data from at least one sensor proximate to an entity, the entity is a human under care of at least one temporary guardian (TG) pursuant to a set of guardianship rules, the guardianship rules including a pre-defined geographic boundary in which the entity is to remain while under the care of the at least one TG. When executed, the instructions further cause the server to extract location metadata of the entity from the sensor data, and based at least in part on the metadata, send notifications to the TG and to a primary guardian (PG) of the entity when the entity is outside of the pre-defined boundary.

  • Patent number: 10764635
Abstract: A system and method for real-time alteration of media content based on stress monitoring is disclosed. A computer system present a single media content item in two distinct content streams to a first and second user. Using sensor generated data the computer system measures at least one user response indicator for the first and second user and estimates a stress level for the first and second users. The computer system determines whether the estimated stress level for the first user exceeds a first predetermined stress threshold. In accordance with a determination that the estimated stress level for the first user exceeds a first predetermined stress threshold the computer system alters the first stream of the presented media content item to modify the particular portion of the media content item associated with the estimated stress level for the first user.

  • Patent number: 10496831
Abstract: A privacy filter for an electronic display (e.g., of a mobile device) may be dynamically applied based on multiple factors. The application of the privacy filter may include determining that data to be displayed on the electronic display is of a private nature. If so, a location context is then determined based on whether the location of the electronic display is public and therefore someone other than the user of mobile device might view the electronic display. If the location is public, boundaries associated with an area of the electronic display where the private data is to be displayed may be detected so that a privacy filter may generated dynamically based on the data, the location context and the boundaries. The privacy filter is configured to restrict the viewing angle of the entire electronic display or of a sub-area of the electronic display within the determined boundaries.
