    Abstract: The rubber composition of the present invention comprises rubbers and halogen compounds. As the rubbers, vulcanized or unvulcanized rubbers are employed. The vulcanized rubber compositions are obtained by applying unvulcanized rubbers together with the halogen compounds, vulcanizing agents and vulcanization accelerators to subjects to be coated and then heating them. These rubber compositions all exhibit a strong adhesive force to various rubbers and therefore, they are useful as adhesives or subbing agents for various rubbers including vulcanized polyolefin rubbers.

    Abstract: There is provided an adhesive composition to increase the bond strength of coating material and adhesive to be applied to vulcanized polyolefin rubber or polyolefin resin. It comprises a hydrocarbon polymer, a halogenating agent to be incorporated in said hydrocarbon polymer, and a solvent in which are dissolved said hydrocarbon polymer and halogenating agent. The hydrocarbon polymer is any one of a polymer having a saturated or partly saturated main chain with at least one terminal hydroxyl group, a polymer having a saturated or partly saturated main chain with a carboxyl group, a functional hydrocarbon polymer having a saturated aliphatic ring, and a polymer having polyerizable unsaturated groups. The halogenating agent is an alkyl hypohalide, a compound having the ##STR1## bond (where X is a halogen) in the molecule, or a hypohalogenite.

    Abstract: A side mold is disclosed which comprises a mold proper formed of a synthetic resin compound incorporating a plasticizer, a one-faced adhesive tape, and a curing adhesive agent containing a polar atomic group, with the one-faced adhesive tape joined fast to the mold proper through the medium of the curing type adhesive agent. Owing to the existence of the curing type adhesive agent layer containing the polar atomic group in the boundary between the rear side of the mold proper and the adhesive tape, even when the plasticizer in the mold proper exudes from the mold proper into the aforementined boundary, it is not allowed to form a layer of its own in the boundary and the otherwise inevitable degradation of the cohesive force of the aforementioned adhesive agent layer is curbed. Thus, sufficient adhesive strength is retained for a long time between the rear side of the mold proper and the adhesive tape.

    Abstract: An electrostatic flocking product in which flocks are fixed to the surface of a base material through an adhesive layer. The adhesive layer of the electrostatic flocking product is formed by polyurethane prepared by curing a mixture of an isocyanate prepolymer and polyisocyanate, with water, and the polyol raw material for the foregoing isocyanate prepolymer is a mixture of a high polyol as the main component and triethanolamine in a specific mixing ratio. The electrostatic flocking product of this invention has sufficiently high abrasion resistance at the flocked surface and the foregoing water-cured polyurethane for forming the adhesive layer of the electrostatic flocking product of this invention shows good coating workability at the formation of the adhesive layer.
