Abstract: A system and method for fixed mobile convergence for transferring a call directed to a first phone of a user to one of another set of phones is disclosed. The method comprises monitoring a position of a mobile phone, establishing a zone around the mobile phone which changes as the position of the mobile phone changes, identifying a closest phone as one of the another set of phones with a location closest to the position of the mobile phone and within the zone at a time of the call, and routing the call to the closest phone. The system uses a cloud computer operatively connected to both the mobile phone, the first phone and the another set of phones and monitors the position of the mobile phone.
