    Abstract: A wireless hoist system including a first hoist device having a first motor and a first wireless transceiver and a second hoist device having a second motor and a second wireless transceiver. The wireless hoist system includes a controller in wireless communication with the first wireless transceiver and the second wireless. The controller is configured to receive a user input and determine a first operation parameter and a second operation parameter based on the user input. The controller is also configured to provide, wirelessly, a first control signal indicative of the first operation parameter to the first hoist device and provide, wirelessly, a second control signal indicative of the second operation parameter to the second hoist device. The first hoist device operates based on the first control signal and the second hoist device operates based on the second control signal.

    Abstract: A blade clearance adjustment mechanism for a scroll shear tool is configured to adjust a horizontal blade clearance between a fixed blade and a moving blade. The blade clearance adjustment mechanism includes an adjustment bushing supported within a bushing pathway. The adjustment bushing supports a reciprocatory spindle, and a relative position of the adjustment bushing within the bushing pathway affects a relative position of the moving blade with respect to the fixed blade. The blade clearance adjustment mechanism further includes an adjustment member coupled to the adjustment bushing. The adjustment member is configured to change the relative position of the adjustment bushing between a first position associated with a first blade clearance and a second position associated with a second blade clearance.

The cart also includes a wire interconnecting the cart control unit and the first connector. The wire configured to transmit a second input control signal from the cart control unit to the saw control unit upon receiving the input from the throttle, via the first and second connectors, to selectively activate and vary a rotational speed of the motor and the saw blade.

The second component is configured to rotate in the first rotational direction relative to the first component in response to angular deceleration of the first component. A damping element is positioned between the first component and second component, and the damping element is configured to bias the first component in the first rotational direction and the second component in an opposite, second rotational direction.

    Abstract: A powered threaded rod cutter includes first and second cutting dies, an electric motor, a planetary transmission positioned downstream of the motor, a drivetrain for converting a rotational output of the transmission to a pivoting movement of the first cutting die, and a clutch mechanism for redirecting torque from the motor away from a drivetrain and the first cutting die in response to the first cutting die seizing during a rod-cutting operation. The clutch mechanism includes a ring gear in the planetary transmission, and a spring that rotationally affixes the ring gear below a predetermined threshold of reaction torque through the drivetrain and permits rotation of the ring gear above the threshold.

    Abstract: A bit-removal assembly includes a first ring coupled to an output shaft for co-rotation therewith, a second ring supported on the lower retaining ring of the output shaft, a frusto-conical surface on at least one of the first or second rings, and a wedge positioned between the first and second rings and engaging with the frusto-conical surface. A collar defines a cam surface located radially outward of the wedge. The collar is movable between a locked position, in which the cam surface is engaged with the wedge to displace the wedge radially inward on the frusto-conical surface to separate the second ring from the first ring, and a released position, in which the cam surface is misaligned with the wedge to permit the wedge to move radially outward on the frusto-conical surface. A biasing member urges the collar towards the locked position.
