Abstract: The invention provides a novel carbon dioxide adsorbent that can capture carbon dioxide and the like, the carbon dioxide adsorbent being a carbon dioxide adsorbent including a metal-organic framework, the metal-organic framework can capture and desorb carbon dioxide, an isolated voids are formed inside the metal-organic framework by the metal-organic framework's three-dimensional structure, the isolated voids are the space that can capture carbon dioxide and does not have a channel through which carbon dioxide can pass in an ordinary state, and although the three-dimensional structure of the framework changes during the process where carbon dioxide is captured within isolated voids and the process where carbon dioxide is released from isolated voids, the three-dimensional structure of the metal-organic framework when carbon dioxide is captured within the isolated voids is the same as when carbon dioxide is not captured within the isolated voids.

A wearable device includes the following: a collar; a belt having one end connected to the collar, and extending to the animal's back via a dog's armpit when the wearable device is attached to the dog; and a joint where the belt length is adjusted. The belt has a wearable-device index indicated for the length adjustment with the joint, the wearable-device index corresponding to a measuring-instrument index indicated on an index belt included in a measuring instrument.

Abstract: A state acquisition computer is provided that includes an interface configured to acquire data for indicating an inter-beat interval of an animal, and a processor configured to convert a Poincare plot of inter-beat intervals into a prescribed coordinate system, and based on a standard deviation of the Poincare plot after conversion, acquire information indicating a psychological state or a physical state of the animal.

Abstract: A wearable instrument is provided that measures biological information over an extended period of time by enabling an electrode to be readily pressed to an axilla of an animal. The wearable instrument includes: electrodes to be placed under the left and right axillae of a dog to produce an electrocardiogram; pull-up straps to be placed in direct contact with the axilla to press the electrodes onto the axilla; and a cinch strap placed across the anterior chest of the dog to draw the left and right sections of the pull-up strap together.
