  • Publication number: 20200100344
Abstract: An illumination system disposes a plurality of first luminaires that are virtual, virtually simulates a lighting mode for each of the plurality of first luminaires, and uses information from a first information processing device that generates lighting information indicating the lighting mode for each of the plurality of first luminaires and DMX addresses that are linked to the lighting information and identify each of the plurality of first luminaires. The illumination system includes a plurality of second luminaires disposed in an actual facility, and a console that turns on each of the plurality of second luminaires in a predetermined lighting mode. The console obtains the lighting information, the DMX addresses, and unique IDs that identify each of the plurality of second luminaires; and further obtains setup information in which the DMX addresses and the unique IDs are linked.

  • Patent number: 9226365
Abstract: The lighting system includes a plurality of controllers each configured to control one or more lighting apparatuses. Each controller is configured to associate a set of coordinates of a position in an image taken by an image sensor thereof with an address of the lighting apparatus selected as a control object of a particular controller out of the other controllers. Each controller is configured to, when a person is detected by the image processing unit thereof, determine the set of coordinates of a position of the detected person; and, when the lighting apparatus associated with the determined set of coordinates is the control object of the particular controller, send a control signal to the particular controller. The particular controller is configured to, upon receiving the control signal, light the lighting apparatus corresponding to the determined set of coordinates.

  • Patent number: 9078304
Abstract: The lighting system includes a plurality of lighting apparatuses and a controller configured to control the lighting apparatuses. Upon receiving a random number generation instruction from the controller, the lighting apparatus generates a first random number and a second random number by using a random number generation unit, and counts synchronization signals sent from the controller. When acknowledging that the counted number of the synchronization signals is equal to the first random number, the lighting apparatus sends the second random number to the controller. The controller identifies the lighting apparatuses based on the second random numbers respectively received from the lighting apparatuses, and uniquely allocates mutually different addresses to the respective identified lighting apparatuses.
