  • Patent number: 7483690
Abstract: A mobile phone stores a plurality of profile data, each including a portal URL. A user of the mobile phone selects for use data of a profile including the portal URL. When a Java-AP running on the mobile phone transmits to JAM an instruction for a communication, JAM stores the domain name of the portal URL included in the selected profile data as information about the inhibited destination of a communication performed by the Java-AP. JAM restricts communications performed by a Java-AP on the basis of the information about the inhibited destination stored by JAM. Thus, communications from a Java-AP running on the mobile phone to the server apparatus assigned with the domain name of the portal URL may be inhibited by selection of profile data including a portal URL.

Abstract: A lead-attached electrical element and a mounting board to which the lead-attached electrical element is mounted both contribute to a reduction in the size of the mounting board as well as facilitate rework. The lead-attached electrical element is constituted from an electrical element and two leads. Each lead includes a main portion which is bonded to a respective electrode face of the electrical element, and a bent portion which is inclined with respect to the main portion. The mounting board is constituted from a PC (printed circuit) board and the lead-attached electrical element. Two conductive lands are provided on a surface of the PC board. The lead-attached electrical element has been inserted into an aperture in the PC board, and bent portions of the leads attached to the electrical element are bonded to the conductive lands so that the electrical element is suspended in the aperture by the leads.

  • Publication number: 20060173988
Abstract: When a communication malfunction occurs in the transmission line between routers, and operation is carried out by a backup system control device, IP telephone terminals can connect to the backup system control device through the use of an IP address that is previously acquired from the address management device and saved. When the transmission line has been restored, the IP telephone terminals reconnect to the address management device so that operation can be carried out using an IP address under the control of the address management device. In a system that is operated by DHCP, it is thereby possible to construct a network that can be operated without installing a DHCP server at each remote station.

  • Publication number: 20060137328
Abstract: In an internal combustion engine, an exhaust passage is provided with a NOx storing and decomposing catalyst (20). When burning fuel under a lean air-fuel ratio, the nitrogen monoxide is adsorbed by the NOx storing and decomposing catalyst (20) and disassociated. At this time, the disassociated oxygen is held in the form of oxygen ions O? on the NOx storing and decomposing catalyst (20). By making the air-fuel ratio rich and purging part of these oxygen ions O?, the remaining oxygen ions O? are also purged. Due to this, the NOx purification performance of the NOx storing and decomposing catalyst (20) is restored.

  • Patent number: 6906002
Abstract: A catalyst able to overcome defects of an absorption reduction-type NOx purifying catalyst, such as poor NOx purifying capability at low temperatures and low SOx desorbing property, is provided. The catalyst is an absorption reduction-type NOx purifying catalyst where NOx absorbent particles and support particles having supported thereon a catalyst component are mixed. Preferably, acidic support particles are added to the support particle, the NOx absorbent particles are a metal oxide having a base point, and the metal oxide is rare earth-added zirconia. In conventional catalysts, the NOx absorbent such as alkali metal having strong basicity exposes the catalyst component present together on the same support to the basic condition to decrease the catalytic performance.
