Abstract: The present invention relates to a cooling jacket for cooling a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor, wherein the cooling jacket comprises bearing housing cooling portion and a stator cooling portion, wherein the stator cooling portion comprises stator coolant guiding channel having an enlarged middle section. The flow splitter having a shape that corresponds to the enlarged middle section is disposed at the middle of this enlarged section. The flow splitter has the same height as that of the partition wall, and the upper surface of the flow splitter is curved to form a seal with the inner surface of the stator outer housing. At the middle of the stator coolant guiding channel, there is provided a middle rib that extends in the spiral shape around the circumference of the stator cooling portion. The middle rib has a lower height than the height of the partition wall.

  • Publication number: 20250071217
Abstract: An image reading apparatus includes a document table, a reading device, a communication line, a rail, and a transport mechanism. On the document table, a document is placed. The reading device reads the document placed on the document table, and outputs image data. The communication line is configured to electrically transmit the image data. The rail extends along a reading direction in which the reading device reads the document placed on the document table, the communication line being fixed to the rail. The transport mechanism transports the reading device along the rail, thereby transporting the reading device along a reading route through which the reading device reads the document placed on the document table. The transport mechanism electrically connects the reading device to the communication line.

  • Publication number: 20250058271
Abstract: In a general aspect, interfacial surface structures for removing carbon dioxide from a gaseous feed are presented. In some cases, a method of removing carbon dioxide gas from a gaseous feed includes wetting surfaces of an interfacial surface structure in a gas-liquid contactor with an alkaline capture solution. The gaseous feed containing the CO2 gas is passed across the wetted surfaces of the interfacial surface structure to dissolve the CO2 gas in the alkaline capture solution. A CO2-rich alkaline capture solution is collected from the gas-liquid contactor. The CO2-rich alkaline capture solution includes dissolved CO2 gas from the gaseous feed.

  • Publication number: 20250021417
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and computer system for creating a virtual collaborative space within an intelligent workflow framework. One or more processors of a computer system identify the need for a virtual collaborative space where human interactions can occur to test or optimize the existing workflow and identify triggers for when the virtual collaborative space shall be initiated based on historical learning models trained from instrumentation data generated by the workflow. Responsive to a trigger from the identified triggers, the one or more processors of the computer system alert a first user to enter the virtual collaborative space and initiate the virtual collaborative space. The one or more processors of the computer system replicate a scenario that activated the trigger including identifying parties of interest to the scenario and enable the first user to address an issue in the existing workflow that caused the trigger to occur.

  • Patent number: 12187653
Abstract: Disclosed are surface retarder composition and method for etching cementitious materials which achieve a desirable light “acid etch” look without using muriatic (hydrochloric) acid or sand blasting, removing the human health and environmental concerns. Formulations in accordance with embodiments disclosed herein are easier to remove from formwork or molds after demolding than conventional retarder paints. Surface retarders prevent the hydration of cement particles, which allows the uncured layer of paste next to the form to be removed such as by washing with water or other fluids, or by brushing, revealing aggregates. Also disclosed are molded cement and concrete materials or articles exhibiting such light etch.

  • Patent number: 12175176
Abstract: A system receives a logic design of a circuit of an integrated circuit and apply a reduced synthesis process to the logical design of the integrated circuit. The reduced synthesis process is less computation intensive compared to the optimized digital implementation synthesis process and generates a netlist having suboptimal delay. The system provides the generated netlist as input to a timing analysis that alters the standard delay computation (through scaling and other means) to predict the timing of a fully optimized netlist. The reduced synthesis process has faster execution time compared to the optimized digital implementation synthesis process but results in comparable performance, power and area that is within a threshold of the results generated using optimized digital implementation synthesis process.

  • Publication number: 20240411748
Abstract: An access service is positioned between a set of container groups and a SQL database service. Upon receipt, at the access service, of a REST request from any container group indicating that a SQL transaction should be started, an entry is created in a staging database, separate from the SQL database service, to track the SQL transaction. Multiple connections are allowed to be established from the container groups to the access service over which other REST requests from any container group are sent. The other REST requests include details of SQL operations to be performed as part of the SQL transaction. The details are cached in the staging database. Upon receiving a REST request from any container group indicating that the SQL transaction should be committed, a single connection is established between the access service and SQL database service to commit the transaction, including the details, as an atomic transaction.

  • Publication number: 20240402137
Abstract: Acoustic inspection systems and methods are described herein useful to determining microstructural characteristics, such as microtexture regions (MTRs), of a material sample. In some embodiments, a method of determining a material characteristic of a material sample includes transmitting acoustic waves from transducer having a concave face that includes one or more piezoelectric elements through a coupling medium and to a surface of a material sample to produce surface acoustic waves along a portion of a surface of the material sample. The one or more piezoelectric elements of the concave face may operate as at least one of an acoustic transmitter or an acoustic receiver. The method also includes receiving the surface acoustic waves reflected from the surface of the material sample at the concave face. The method then includes determining at least one material characteristic of the material sample based on a property of the surface acoustic waves.
