    Abstract: A shopping cart cushion for placement into the mini basket portion of a shopping cart is comprised of a body, left extension and right extension. A strap is attached to the left extension and passes through a loop on the right extension for securement of a child sitting within the device. An optional bar protector is either fixedly or removably attached to the body and is wrapped around the handle bar of the shopping cart. The device folds up and is easy to transport.
