In operation, the backwashing device returns a fraction of purified fluid E1 to backwash the main separator. The resulting backwashing fluid F is then delivered to the secondary separator via a multi-port valve V where the backwashing fluid is centrifuged and/or filtered to remove impurities therefrom.

Abstract: The invention relates to a fluid treatment assembly comprising a filter (4) which itself comprises filtering elements (5) and a cleaning device (12) for periodically cleaning each filtering element including a conduit (17) for the evacuation of the cleaning fluid filled with impurities resulting from the cleaning, the treament assembly further comprising a centrifuging device which itself comprises a rotary enclosure (37) connected to a fluid admission conduit (28).According to the invention, the filtering elements (5) and the enclosure (37) are contained in a single casing (1A-1B), while the admission conduit (28) is directly connected (29-30) to the conduit (17) for evacuating the cleaning fluid.The invention finds an application in the construction of a compact and reliable assembly.

Abstract: A fluid filter, preferably having a filter body, a first and second filtration assembly contained within the filter body and a cleaning device also contained within the filter body. The first and second filtration assemblies have at least one filtering element and have an enclosure for receiving the filtered fluid, the enclosure being separated from the rest of the filter by the filtering elements of the first and second filtration assemblies. The cleaning device periodically cleans the filtering elements of the first and second filtration assemblies and has an enclosure for receiving the residues of cleaning from the filtering elements of the first and second filtration assemblies, the enclosure being separated from the filtering elements of the first and second filtration assemblies and having a permanent opening for evacuating the residues of cleaning. The filtering elements of the first and second filtration assemblies present notably different filtration calibrations.

Abstract: The present invention related to a filter consisting of a stack 4 of elements 5 comprising one cylindrical side and each element consisting of several isolated sections 23-24 and provided with orifices 35 for communication of its sections with the circumferences of the element and with a rotary distribution valve 37 mounted to rotate coaxially with the cylindrical side and comprising a chamber 22a for the isolation of a first section 23 from any element of the other sections, communicating with this first section through a port of the distribution valve.The form of the port 22a and the layout of the orifices 35 are such that the first sections 23 of only one part of the elements are in communication with the chamber 22a.One application is the manufacture of a filter of small size and high efficiency.
