  • Patent number: 10040247
Abstract: A method for the sterile connection of pipes, consisting of: providing a first and a second pipe; a separating area of the first and second pipes is heated; both pipes are mechanically separated by exerting traction and/or shear force onto the pipes so that both pipes are respectively separated in the heated separating area; after the pipes are separated, a mechanical contact between the end of the first pipe section of the first pipe formed by the separation of the first pipe is established with the end of the first pipe section of the second pipe, formed by the separation of the second pipe, and mechanical contact is established such that the ends of the pipe sections still have, following heating when they come into mechanical contact with each other, a temperature such that they form a material fit connection without additional heating after separation.

  • Publication number: 20170131944
Abstract: Content is captured and archived at an archive center (AC) and, depending upon records management (RM) policy, is managed by the AC or under RM control by a content server (CS). Both the AC and CS may be part of an enterprise content management system. The AC provides a user-friendly interface through which retention zones may be defined, and functionality for applying RM policy. The functionality can be triggered via a specific content property or through a retention zone under RM control. The RM control can be turned on or off from within the AC using the user-friendly interface. Archived content is not moved or duplicated. Rather, metadata and a link to the storage location are sent to the CS which, in turn, creates a content server document that is linked to the archived content. Only a portion of archived content is exposed to the CS through the AC.

  • Patent number: 9214873
Abstract: A method for operating an electrical power rectifier. The power rectifier comprises at least two branches that are connected in parallel to each other, each of the branches comprising at least two power semiconductor elements that are connected in series. The collector-emitter voltage Vce(t) and/or the collector current Ic(t) of one of the power semiconductor elements is detected by means of the method. Furthermore, it is determined whether at least one of the following conditions is met: dVce(t)/dt<(dVce/dt)crit, and/or dIc(t)/dt<(dIc/dt)crit, and or Ic(t_ent)<Iccrit. If at least one of the aforementioned conditions has been met, the gate-emitter voltage of at least one of the power semiconductor elements is increased.

  • Patent number: 6697274
Abstract: An open-loop and closed-loop control method is proposed for a single-phase or polyphase three-point converter which is connected to a DC voltage intermediate circuit, having two series-connected main switches/inverse diodes between each DC voltage connection and each load connection. The common junction point of the two inner main switches forms the load connection. An active clamped switch with an inverse diode is connected between each common junction point of an inner main switch and an outer main switch and the center tap of the DC voltage intermediate circuit. As a result of which, two possible paths are formed for connecting a load connection to the center tap. Irrespective of the direction of the load current, at least one of the two active clamped switches (T5, T6) is connected to the center tap together with at least one inner main switch for connection of a load connection.

  • Patent number: 6401086
Abstract: The method enables the sentence-based automatic summarization of a text on a computer. For this purpose, subject-related lexica are used that provide a relevance measure for each word contained therein. Each sentence of the text to be summarized is processed word-by-word, and for each word an individual word frequency, weighted with the relevance measure, is cumulated. For the summarization, the n sentences having the greatest probability that they belong to the summary are assembled, whereby n is a predeterminable reduction measure.

  • Publication number: 20020007381
Abstract: An object is assigned to at least one class of a set of classes by determining for the object a membership criterion to each class. In this process, class-dependent threshold values are determined for the assignment by optimizing an evaluation criterion under prescribed secondary conditions. A comparison of the membership criterion with the threshold values of the classes yields the appropriate assignment of the object to at least one class.

  • Patent number: 6295543
Abstract: The text to be classified is compared with the contents of a relevance lexicon in which the significant words of the texts to be classified per text class and their relevance to the text classes is stored. The fuzzy set is calculated which specifies for the significant words of the text to be classified, their occurrence per text class and their relevance to the text class. A probability calculation is used for determining the probability with which the fuzzy set occurs per class for the corresponding class. The class having the highest probability is selected and the text is allocated to this class.

  • Patent number: 6219265
Abstract: A three-point converter with NPC diodes disposed between bridge halves and a center tap of an intermediate circuit is proposed. A decoupling network is provided for the upper bridge half, a first input of which decoupling network is connected to a positive pole of the intermediate circuit and a first output of the decoupling network is connected to a positive pole of the three-point converter. Furthermore, provision is made of a further decoupling network for the lower bridge half, a first input of the further decoupling network is connected to a negative pole of the intermediate circuit and a first output of the further decoupling network is connected to a negative pole of the three-point converter. The remaining inputs of both of the decoupling networks are connected to the center tap of the intermediate circuit. The remaining outputs of both of the decoupling networks are connected via the NPC diodes to the upper and lower bridge halves.
