Publication number: 20220347584Abstract: The various implementations described herein include methods, devices, and systems for interactive cloud gaming. In one aspect, an interface device with processors and memory storing an application program is used for cloud gaming. The interface device includes a communication module for receiving and/or transmitting messages and media streams between the interface device, a game controller, and a remote gaming server. The interface device further includes an output module configured to provide output of the application to an input of a display device coupled to or integrated with the interface device. The application is configured to implement a first mode in which the interface device processes and displays outputs associated with substantially all messages transmitted by the game controller, and a second mode in which the interface device processes and displays a predefined subset of messages from the game controller and displays gaming media streams from the gaming server.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 19, 2022Publication date: November 3, 2022Inventors: Dov Zimring, Thomas Enders, Matthew Rodgers, Gurudas Somadder, Jason Pi

Publication number: 20110285186Abstract: A method for automatically setting a component of a vehicle that can be automatically set, wherein the vehicle has a seat that can be electrically adjusted has the following steps: adjusting (101, 102) the seat (FS) or a seat part (SL) over a specified adjustment travel or adjustment angle, determining (201) the drive load occurring during adjustment of the seat or seat part and calculating a weight value (W) therefrom, comparing (301) the calculated weight value with weight values (W1, W2, . . . , Wm) calculated and stored in advance, setting (401) the component based on the comparison result. The method is used particularly in vehicles having seats that can be electrically adjusted and having vehicle components that can be adapted automatically, e.g., belt tensioner (G), airbag (AB), steering wheel (L), gas, brake, and clutch pedals (P), interior/exterior mirror, and much more.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 11, 2009Publication date: November 24, 2011Applicant: CONTINENTAL AUTOMOTIVE GMBHInventors: Gerhard Demmelmeier, Thomas Enders

Patent number: 5920009Abstract: In known methods for generating a predetermined constant pressure in a test liquid of a test apparatus, the test liquid is acted upon by compressed gas that is pumped continuously by a pump and is vented into the atmosphere once the test procedure is completed. This not only makes for an expensive consumption of compressed gas but also causes fluctuations in the pressurized liquid and generates noise. In this method, the pressurized liquid is pumped into a reservoir by a feed pump and in the process, via a movable wall, positively displaces compressed gas, which can flow back into a compressed gas container via an opened bypass shutoff valve, a bypass line, and a compressed gas shutoff valve. During the procedure of testing the specimen, the compressed gas from the compressed gas reservoir acts upon the test liquid with a constant pressure, regulated via the pressure regulating valve. The method is especially suitable for use in a test apparatus for testing injection valves and Diesel injection nozzles.Type: GrantFiled: December 22, 1997Date of Patent: July 6, 1999Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Thomas Enders, Marcus Fahnle
