  • Patent number: 4927480
Abstract: A clamping device for bonding lens wafers, the device having a resilient stamp and an oppositely-disposed resilient mold. The stamp surface is slightly more curved than the concave surface of the top wafer and the mold surface is slightly more planar than the convex surface of the bottom wafer. As the wafers are squeezed between the stamp and mold, the stamp and mold deform and bonding material is squeezed evenly outwardly between the wafers.

  • Patent number: 4699344
Abstract: Applicant's novel invention comprises an easy to use, portable, and versatile base support assembly attachable to a wide variety of equipment poles. The versatility of the support assembly is provided by a thick resilient sleeve with an internal diameter sufficient to mate with the ends of equipment poles of varying diameters. The outer surface of the resilient sleeve is mateable with an axial bore formed in the central hub of the assembly. Thereby, many different diameters of equipment poles may be accommodated by the system. Upright stability of the pole is achieved by means of an additional bolt set within the central hub, mating with a suitable threaded bore in the equipment pole. Applicant's invention has legs that fold in order to enhance portability of the base support. These legs are biased toward the folded storage position for ease of operation.

  • Patent number: 4695025
Abstract: A hanger assembly is disclosed having pivotable arms locking in an operational position, and unlocking to be movable to a storage position. To enhance portability of the assembly, the connection between the assembly and a supporting pole is easily attachable and detachable. The hanger assembly is locked into operation by means of a biased mating engagement between a hanger arm and a cross-arm. Unlocking into a storage position is easily accomplishable by application of force against the biasing force to remove the arms from mating engagement, and then rotating the arms about the pivot point. Hanging of equipment is provided by means disposed on the hanger arm.

  • Patent number: 4545783
Abstract: A container with attached tubing set, for use in the administration of fluids to a patient, comprises a reservoir in fluid communication with the tubing set and an enclosure integrally associated with the reservoir and adapted to coilably receive the tubing set when the container is not in use. The container further includes a seal over an opening to the enclosure which is removable to extend the tubing set, and provide a fluid path therethrough, from the reservoir to the patient during administration of the fluid.
