  • Publication number: 20230290241
Abstract: An electric utility meter including a Hall Effect sensor configured to sense a magnetic field proximate the electric utility meter. The electric utility meter also includes a controller having an electronic processor, the controller configured to receive a signal indicative of a magnitude of the magnetic field proximate the electric utility meter from the sensor, determine whether the magnitude of the magnetic field exceeds a first magnitude threshold and whether a threshold flag has been set, set the threshold flag when the threshold flag has not been set and the magnitude exceeds the first magnitude threshold, determine an amount of time for which the magnitude has exceeded the first magnitude threshold when the threshold flag has been set, and generate an alert indicative of a magnetic tamper event when the amount of time exceeds a time threshold.

  • Patent number: 11750857
Abstract: A method of communicating an alert includes: encoding data received from a plurality of sources by a central content controller (CCC) and determining existence of one or more alerts. If no alerts exist, the encoded data is assigned as streams to subchannels. For existing alerts, a market area (MA) is determined and the alert is assigned as a stream to a data subchannel and the encoded data is assigned as streams to remaining subchannels. For each MA without an applicable alert, the encoded data is assigned as streams to the subchannels. The assigned data is transmitted to regional controllers (RCs) for broadcasting to the associated MAs.

  • Publication number: 20230267127
Abstract: A multi-dimensional graphic user interface displays selected types of information regarding items included in one or more databases or returned by a search in accordance with locations on a two-dimensional display area or projection of a three-dimensional space on a two-dimensional area and provides for selective display of information about respective items in a database (e.g. metadata) as additional dimensions of the display which may be suppressed and/or selectively introduced to avoid user distraction or obscuring information or for comparison between screens which may indicate to a user the degree to which a particular item may or may not be germane to an issue or particular subject matter of interest. The graphic user interface thus provides an effective tool for evaluating search results and organizing detailed review thereof.

  • Publication number: 20230269273
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to identifying potentially malicious messages and generating instream alerts based on real-time message monitoring. A computing platform may monitor a plurality of messages received by a messaging server associated with an operator. Subsequently, the computing platform may detect that a message of the plurality of messages is potentially malicious. In response to detecting that the message of the plurality of messages is potentially malicious, the computing platform may execute one or more protection actions. In executing the one or more protection actions, the computing platform may generate an alert message comprising information indicating that the message of the plurality of messages is potentially malicious. Then, the computing platform may send the alert message to the messaging server, which may cause the messaging server to deliver the alert message to a computing device associated with an intended recipient of the message.

  • Publication number: 20230246988
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to providing commercial and/or spam messaging detection and enforcement. A computing platform may receive a plurality of text messages from a sender. It may then tokenize the plurality of text messages to yield a plurality of tokens. The computing platform may then match one or more tokens of the plurality of tokens in the plurality of text messages to one or more bulk string tokens. Next, it may detect one or more homoglyphs in the plurality of text messages, and then detect one or more URLs in the plurality of text messages. The computing platform may flag the sender based at least on the one or more matching tokens, the one or more detected homoglyphs, and the one or more detected URLs. Based on flagging the sender, the computing platform may block one or more messages from the sender.

  • Patent number: 11715368
Abstract: A load control system may include control devices for controlling electrical loads. The control devices may include load control devices, such as a lighting device for controlling an amount of power provided to a lighting load, and controller devices, such as a remote control device configured to transmit digital messages for controlling the lighting load via the load control device. The remote control device may communicate with the lighting devices via a hub device. The remote control device may detect a user interface event, such as a button press or a rotation of the remote control device. The remote control device or the hub device may determine whether to transmit digital messages as unicast messages or multicast messages based on the type of user interface event detected. The remote control device, or other master device, may synchronize and/or toggle an on/off state of lighting devices in the load control system.

  • Patent number: 11694542
Abstract: A computer includes a processor and a memory, the memory storing instructions executable by the processor to collect biometric data of a vehicle user, identify a set of user-specific data from one or more stored sets of user-specific data based on the biometric data, and receive a request for a stored location. When the biometric data of the vehicle user match the stored biometric data, the instructions include instructions to display the requested location. When the biometric data of the vehicle user do not match the stored biometric data, the instructions include instructions to identify an offset location based on the requested location and a population density of the requested location and display the offset location.

  • Patent number: 11600366
Abstract: The present disclosure pertains to a system for facilitating configuration modifications for a patient interface computer system based on risk of readmission of the patient. In some embodiments, the system obtains (i) patient demographics information associated with a patient, the patient previously having been admitted at a facility of a first type, (ii) disease information associated with the patient, and (iii) facility information associated with a facility of a second type, the facility information including one or more facility-specific factors associated with the facility of the second type. The system determines a risk of readmission to a facility of the first type for the patient based on the obtained patient demographics information, the disease information, and the facility information. The system causes a configuration of the patient interface computer system to be modified based on the determined risk of readmission.
