  • Patent number: 10113734
Abstract: A light source for a sorting apparatus is described and which includes an illuminator having a multiplicity of modules which are electrically coupled together, and which further include a plurality of light emitting diodes which can be selectively energized, by a computer network so as to parametrically control a temporal, spatial, and spectral energizing of the respective modules; and a light diffuser member is located in spaced relation relative to the illuminator, and which passes and substantially renders a visibly luminous or invisible emission substantially uniform.

  • Publication number: 20070199837
Abstract: An easy to carry lightweight carton for shipping and storing cut paper and for providing rapid and easy access to the paper when the carton is opened. The carton has a base portion and a lid pivotally attached to the base portion. A front wall of the carton may be pivoted down when the lid is pivoted up to facilitate access to the contents of the carton for ease of unloading of paper from the carton. A carry handle is built into the lid to facilitate carrying of the carton. The carton may be re-closed after it is opened.

  • Publication number: 20060118605
Abstract: A package according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a main body portion defined by a bottom wall and one or more upstanding sidewalls. The sidewalls cooperate to define an open top of the main body portion of the package. A lid is provided and is defined by a top wall and one or more downwardly-depending sidewalls. The lid is sized to fit over the open top of the main body portion of the package. At least one sidewall of the lid is secured to at least one sidewall of the main body portion. At least one sidewall of the lid includes a take-up strip positioned between the top wall and a distal edge of the at least one lid sidewall. The take-up strip permits movement of the lid relative to the main body portion without separating the at least one lid sidewall from the main body portion sidewall to which it is secured.
