The oil-in water polysiloxane emulsion shows a viscosity of less than 7 Pa*s and a pH value from about 4 to about 8. The emulsion comprises about 0.1% to about 10% by weight of a non-volatile polysiloxane fluid and from about 0.003% to about 0.6% by weight of a rheology modifier, wherein less than 0.015 g of the non-volatile polysiloxane fluid are applied per gram hair.
