    Abstract: Foldable substrates comprise a substrate thickness from about 80 micrometers to about 2 millimeters. Foldable substrates comprise a first portion, a second portion, and a central portion positioned therebetween. The central portion comprises a central thickness from about 25 micrometers to about 80 micrometers defined between a first central surface area and a second central surface area. A central total thickness variation of the central portion over the first central surface area is less than or equal to 10 micrometers. The central portion comprises a first transition region extending between a first surface area of the first portion and the first central surface area. The first central surface area is recessed from the first major surface by a first distance. A thickness of the first transition region smoothly and monotonically decreases between the substrate thickness of the first portion and the central thickness of the central portion.

    Abstract: Disclosed is display device for a vehicle interior system including a glass substrate comprising a length extending in a first direction that is greater than or equal to 200 mm. An organic light emitting diode (OLED) display module is disposed on a major surface of the glass substrate, the OLED display module comprising a plurality of functional layers. A support structure is mechanically coupled to the glass substrate and the OLED display module to retain the glass substrate and the OLED display module in a curved configuration. A plurality of adhesive layers attach the OLED display module to the second major surface and a plurality of functional layers of the OLED display module to one another. Each adhesive layer comprises a Young's modulus that is less than or equal 1.5 MPa to decouple strain distributions in the glass substrate and the plurality of functional layers from one another.

In some embodiments, the at least one second portion comprises at least five second portions.     Abstract: A transparent article is described herein that includes: a substrate comprising an opposing first and second primary surface; and an optical film structure disposed on the first primary surface. The optical film structure comprises a scratch-resistant layer, a plurality of alternating high refractive index (RI) and low RI layers, and an outer and inner structure, the scratch-resistant layer disposed between the outer and inner structures. The outer structure can comprise at least one medium RI layer in contact with one of the high RI layers and the scratch-resistant layer. The medium RI layer comprises an RI from 1.55 to 1.80, each of the high RI layers comprises an RI of >1.80, and each of the low RI layers comprises an RI<1.55. A sum of the physical thicknesses of all of the low RI layers in the outer structure can be <200 nm.
