  • Patent number: 10278470
Abstract: Provided is a mascara applicator for shaping eyelashes while heating the eyelashes and applying mascara liquid while heating the mascara liquid to a suitable temperature so that application of makeup on the eyelashes can be carried out in a short time in total. The mascara applicator includes: a container 1 for housing mascara liquid; an application body 2 to be attached to and detached from the container 1; and a shaping body 3 to be attached to and detached from the application body 2. The application body 2 includes an application rod 11 in a shape of a hollow shaft to be inserted into the container 1 and an application portion 12 provided at an end portion of the application rod 11. The shaping body 3 includes a shaping rod 21 to be housed by insertion into the application rod 11, a heating shaping portion 22, and a heater 29. The heater 29 can be switched between an OFF state and two stages of ON states.

  • Publication number: 20150034113
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an electrically-operated makeup tool to enable, through electric operation, a motion different from makeup work performed by hand, an excellent finish of makeup relative to when performed by hand, and a comfortable feeling upon contact with the skin that has not been conventionally achievable, in addition to enabling application of powdered cosmetic material in a short period of time without dirtying the hand. Provided is a makeup brush that causes an applicator formed of bundled bristles to reciprocally vibrate in a direction in which the bristles are oriented with an electric drive unit such that the applicator dabs cosmetic material onto the skin with the tip of the bristles, wherein the amplitude of the reciprocal vibration is 2 to 10 mm, the vibration frequency of the reciprocal vibration is 3 to 50 Hz, and the length of the bristles is 15 to 30 mm.

  • Patent number: 7857538
Abstract: The outer face of a distal end part having a discharge opening 1c at the distal end of an applicator 100 is a sloped face 1a, so that skin or another surface to be coated can be coated favorably, and when a moving body 6 advances as far as it can, an elastic body 9 provided to the distal end of the moving body 6 hits a sloped face 1b that is the inner face of the distal end part having the discharge opening 1c at the distal end of the applicator 100, and elastically deforms along said sloped face 1b, and an application material L that could not be pushed out with a conventional piston and would remain in a substantially hoof-shaped (sloped cylindrical) space (a space including the sloped face 1b within the applicator distal end) can be completely pushed out by the elastic body 9, leaving almost none behind, so that all of it can be consumed.
