  • Publication number: 20110145417
Abstract: There are provided a portable terminal device and a communication device connect control method that enable lessening of a time for waiting device search processing and processing for acquiring a DDD or an SDD of a normally-connected device. A device connect management unit 108 determines, in accordance with information about a communication network retained in a connect history information storage unit 109, whether or not connection with a communication device is feasible. When connection is feasible, connection is established with the communication device in accordance with information about a communication device connected to the communication network retained in the connect history information storage unit 109.

  • Patent number: 7830828
Abstract: A communication apparatus wherein the function arrangement of each device is revised, thereby preventing an increase in traffic of a public network and further suppressing an increase in communication cost of the public network. In this apparatus, a control part (101), when notified of a duplication of MBMS data by RNC-c, controls a PDCP part (102), an RLC part (103) and a MAC-d part (104) so as to perform an MBMS data duplication process. The control part (101), when notified of an establishment of a communication line with a node (B), controls the PDCP part (102), RLC part (103) and MAC-d part (104) so as to establish the communication line with the node (B). The RLC part (103) duplicates, based on the control by the control part (101), the MBMS data received from the PDCP part (102). The MAC-d part (104) transmits the MBMS data as MAC processed to the node (B) via a local network between an RNC-u (100) and the node (B).

  • Publication number: 20100023620
Abstract: An access controller not requiring a large amount of resources such as a memory device and not needing to change the list of secure host devices each time the configuration of a network is changed. On receiving a DNS response through an access control section (103) of the access controller (100) a secure host list creating section (104) of the access controller registers the name of the secure host device contained in the DNS response, the IP address, and the IP address of a communication terminal which is a request of the DNS in a secure host list holding section (105) of the access controller (100) when the IP address of the host device contained in the DNS response is the one of the secure host device. The secure host list creating section (104) discards a packet when the communication terminal which is the packet sender is a normal communication terminal and when the packet address is stored in the secure host list holding section (105) and reports nonaccessiblity to the normal communication terminal.

  • Publication number: 20100014521
Abstract: It is possible to perform access from a global network side to a private network side so as to realize mutual communication between the global network and the private network while maintaining security. A table setting unit (307) decides a correspondence between a private IP address and a global IP address and registers it in an address conversion table (310). The address conversion table (310) holds the private IP address and the global IP address while correlating them to each other.

  • Publication number: 20090254658
Abstract: An access control unit and an access control method are provided for controlling an access to a secure host efficiently by reducing the consumption of resources such as a memory. In this access control device, an access control unit (302) performs an access control in accordance with whether the target IP address and the sender IP address of a packet are the IP address of a secure terminal or host or the IP address of a general terminal or host, while referring to a host list stored in a host information storage unit (304). The host information storage unit (304) stores the domain name and the IP address of a general host in an external network (200), as the host list. A host list updating unit (305) inquires the host list of the host information storage unit (304) whether the unregistered host is the secure host or the general host, and updates the host list in accordance with the result of the inquiry.

  • Publication number: 20090129313
Abstract: There is provided a control station device capable of suppressing a traffic amount by discarding packet data to be discarded by a control station device, without transmitting the packet data from the base station device to the control station device. In this device, a buffer (102) stores upstream packet data and discards it without outputting it when a predetermined time has elapsed after the storing of the upstream packet data. According to maximum wait time information, a timer management unit (106) makes an instruction to discard the upstream packet data which is to be discarded even if transmitted to an RNC, without transmitting it to the RNC (122). An alignment buffer (112) corrects the upstream packet data order inversion and discards the upstream packet data for which the maximum wait time has elapsed. A timer management unit (113) sets the maximum wait time and instructs the alignment buffer (112) to discard the upstream packet data for which the maximum wait time has elapsed.

  • Publication number: 20080134315
Abstract: It is possible to realize an easy access control not requiring complicated setting of user access authority in each Web server or not requiring user authentication each time each Web server is accessed. A dedicated DNS server (52) for managing a domain name is arranged in a dedicated network (50). When a gateway (40) is an authenticated terminal according to the authentication by an authentication server (53) in the dedicated network (50), the IP address of the dedicated server (52) is set as the DNS server address. When the gateway (40) is an authentication-disabled terminal, the IP address of the DNS server (32) is set as the DNS server address. Thus, the DNS solution of the authenticated terminal (12) is performed by the dedicated DNS server (52).

  • Publication number: 20070224930
Abstract: A radio base station apparatus (10), capable of improving the throughput, receives data transferred from a wireless network control apparatus (30) via a wire transmission path having a predetermined band and wireless transmits the received data to a mobile terminal apparatus via a wireless transmission path. In the radio base station apparatus (10), a band usage ratio measuring part (109) measures the usage status of the band of the wire transmission path. A first upper limit value setting part (110) sets, based on a result of the measurement by the band usage ratio measuring part (109), a first upper limit value of the transfer rate of the data transferred from the wireless network control apparatus (30) for the wire transmission path. An FP rate deciding part (111) decides, based on the set first upper limit value, the transfer rate.

  • Publication number: 20060227743
Abstract: A packet communication apparatus and a packet communication method capable of suppressing decrease in overall system throughput and preventing communication from being reset or disconnected. An ACK generation section (130) generates an ACK/NACK to indicate whether or not data transmitted on the radio channel has been demodulated correctly. A channel quality measurement section (140) measures channel quality of the radio channel from an AMD-PDU received. According to the ACK/NACK generation situation and the channel quality measured, a WSN determination section (160) determines a WSN appropriate for the channel condition and outputs the WSN to a status PDU generation section (170). More specifically, the WSN determination section (160) determines the WSN, for example, according to the ratio of ACK/NACKs generated in the near past and SIR measurement values. When the status PDU generation section (170) generates a status PDU, it sets the WSN determined by the WSN determination section (160) in the WSN field.
