  • Patent number: 7758736
Abstract: A detecting element (10) of a gas sensor (1) is held with a detecting portion (11) projecting from a front-end engaging-portion (56) of a metallic shell (50) and is accommodated for protection in an inner protector (120) in a gas detection chamber (129). Exhaust gas introduced into the gas detection chamber (129) is exhausted through an exhaust hole (160). The exhaust hole is formed by cutting off a portion of a side wall (127) of a recess portion (125), which is formed by pressing inward a portion between two slits formed in a front end wall (124). A bottom wall (126) of the recess portion (125) is located frontward of the detecting element (10) with respect to the direction of an axis O, thereby preventing a water droplet which comes flying from the outside from directly contacting the detecting element (10).

  • Patent number: 7371092
Abstract: In a waterproof connector (1), a filter (151), which is impermeable to liquid and permeable to air, is arranged between an outer circumferential surface of an insulating coating layer (13) of a first electric wire (11) and a wall surface of the first hole (33). On the other hand, a seal member (51), which is impermeable to liquid and air, is arranged between an outer circumferential surface of an insulating coating layer (313) of a second electric wire (311) and a wall surface of the second hole (313).

  • Publication number: 20010023930
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an electromagnetic valve which includes a cylindrical fixed core, a spring which is mounted at a predetermined position within a hollow portion of the fixed core, a non-magnetic portion which is formed in the fixed core near the spring, and a valve seat member which is disposed at a position away from the predetermined position by a certain distance along a longitudinal axis of the fixed core. And, a movable core is disposed within the hollow portion of the fixed core between the valve seat member and the spring to be movable along the longitudinal axis of the fixed core. The movable core is provided with a stepped columnar portion having a small diameter section formed at its one end portion near the spring, and a large diameter section formed at its the other one end portion near the valve seat member, with a step formed at a boundary between the large diameter section and the small diameter section.

  • Patent number: 5474108
Abstract: The invention is directed to an electromagnetic valve unit which comprises a valve body, on which a plurality of electromagnetic valves mounted in parallel with one another, with the terminals of the valves exposed. A frame, which has a connector portion with through holes defined therein, is secured to the valve body for enclosing the electromagnetic valves. A conductive member is integrally formed with connector terminals and contact pins which are connected with respective terminals of the electromagnetic valves. A cover is provided for covering the conductive member. The connector terminals of the conductive member are pressed into through holes which are defined in the connector portion of the frame, and the contact pins of the conductive member are electrically connected with the respective terminals of the electromagnetic valves.
