    Abstract: A first memory film and a sacrificial fill structure are formed within each first-tier memory opening through a first alternating stack of first insulating layers and first spacer material layers. A second alternating stack of second insulating layers and second spacer material layers is formed over the first alternating stack, and a second-tier memory opening is formed over each sacrificial fill structure. A second memory film is formed in each upper opening, and the sacrificial fill structures are removed from underneath the second-tier memory openings to form memory openings. A semiconductor channel is formed on each vertically neighboring pair of a first memory film and a second memory film as a continuous layer. The first memory film is protected by the sacrificial fill structure during formation of the second-tier memory openings.

Next, fractions (C) are obtained by separating each blood cell in the fraction (B) at a single-cell level and independently performing a process for extracting a nucleic acid for each separated blood cell, each of the fractions (C) containing a nucleic acid distinguishable at a single-cell level. Then, a fraction (D) containing a nucleic acid derived from a fetus is sorted out from a group of fractions (C) by performing a molecular biological analysis for each of the fractions (C).

Controlling the friction plates includes adjusting the hydraulic pressure to a first instruction pressure in a first period in response to a gear shift command, and to a second instruction pressure in a second period.

The difference in travel distance between the first and second pistons in motion due to the different urging forces of the first and second urging members causes the valve part to open the communicating hole.
