  • Publication number: 20190285877
Abstract: An optical scanner, an image projection apparatus, a mobile object, and a method of manufacturing the optical scanner. The optical scanner includes a light source to emit light, a light deflector to deflect the light emitted from the light source, and a planar light transmission member disposed in an optical path between the light source and the light deflector. The planar light transmission member is inclined with reference to an optical-axis direction of the optical path to reduce an astigmatic difference caused to the light deflected by the light deflector due to astigmatism. An image projection apparatus includes the optical scanner and a projection optical system to project light emitted from the optical scanner to a target scanning area. In the image projection apparatus, the light deflector of the optical scanner scans the target scanning area, using light modulated based on image data, to project an image.

  • Publication number: 20180349190
Abstract: An information processing device calculates an index value of a load for data received from a communication device belonging to a specific group out of communication devices. The information processing device determines whether the calculated index value of the load reaches a prescribed reference. If the index value of the load reaches the prescribed reference, the information processing device requests the communication device belonging to the specific group to execute a predetermined process in advance. The predetermined process is a process executable by each communication device belonging to the specific group, out of processes to be executed by an information processing device that is to be requested to process the data received from the communication device belonging to the specific group. Thereby, the load of the information processing device is decreased.

  • Patent number: 9833848
Abstract: Actuator of a connecting-rod fracture splitting apparatus includes: a piston rod having one end portion extending through a lid of the cylinder and connected to a wedge; and a free piston slidably mounted on the piston rod and abuttable against the upper surface of the piston. By pressure fluid being supplied to act on the upper surface of the piston, the free piston imparts a preload to a hole of a big end section of the connecting rod. By pressure fluid being supplied to act on a region upward of the free piston, the free piston is driven downward to collide against the upper surface of the piston, so that divided mandrel members are moved apart from each other, via the piston rod and the wedge, to fracture a large end section of the connecting rod.

  • Patent number: 9024855
Abstract: An information processing apparatus is disclosed, including a detection part, a change part, and a determination part. The detection part detects a change of a first color temperature of an external environment. The change part changes a second color temperature of a display part at a predetermined speed to a targeted value corresponding to the first color temperature after the change in response to a detected change of the first color temperature. The determination part determines whether brightness of an image is changed, in response to a switch of the image on the display part. When it is determined that the brightness of the image on the display part is changed during the change of the second color temperature of the display part, the change part changes the second color temperature of the display part at a different speed from the predetermined speed.
