Abstract: A liquid discharge head includes a flow passage forming member, an element substrate including a liquid discharge element and a surface on which a conductive member made from a metallic material is disposed, and an intermediate layer made from a resin material and configured to join the flow passage forming member and the surface of the element substrate to each other. The intermediate layer is disposed in a state, separated from the conductive member, where the conductive member is exposed from the intermediate layer. The conductive member is covered with the flow passage forming member.
Abstract: A component discrimination apparatus includes: an image acquisition unit configured to acquire image-pickup data obtained by taking an image of a component using a camera; a dividing unit configured to divide the image-pickup data into first image-pickup data and second image-pickup data so that they respectively include at least one characteristic part of the component; a specification identifying unit configured to identify a specification of the characteristic part in the first image-pickup data using the first image-pickup data, thereby identifying a type of the component; and a specification correctness determination unit configured to perform, using the second image-pickup data, correctness determination of whether or not a specification of the characteristic part in the second image-pickup data is the same as a specification of the component of the type identified by the specification identifying unit.

Abstract: A storage system and storage control method are provided in which a plurality of volumes to be processed by a storage control unit are distributed and evacuated in a normal storage control unit without recovering redundancy of the storage control unit having decreased redundancy, and the storage control unit itself having the decreased redundancy is deleted after the evacuating is completed, and thus reservation information processing resources for guaranteeing recoverability of the redundancy become unnecessary.
Abstract: A valve device is capable of precisely adjusting a flow rate variation with time, aging, or the like without using an external sensor or using as few external sensors as possible. The apparatus includes an adjusting actuator for adjusting the position of the operating member positioned at the open position, a communication unit for receiving adjustment information relating to the adjustment of the opening degree of the flow path by the valve element from the outside of the apparatus, and a control unit for adjusting the position of the operating member by driving the adjusting actuator based on the adjustment information.

Abstract: A control method analysis unit acquires a correspondence relation between signs and model numbers from an apparatus table of an instrumentation diagram, and acquires signs and apparatus symbols, and connection relation among apparatuses, from a drawing of the instrumentation diagram. Subsequently, the control method analysis unit acquires an apparatus classification drawn on the diagram by searching an instrumentation apparatus classification database based on the model numbers, and decides a temperature control method employed by an instrumentation indicated in the instrumentation diagram, from the apparatus classification and the connection relation. The control method analysis unit then links the decided temperature control method to the instrumentation diagram accumulated in a case database. A search processing unit extracts a corresponding instrumentation diagram by searching the case database based on a temperature control method designated as a search condition.

The electronic circuit is electrically connected to a plurality of transducers on one side. The insulative heat conductive spacer contacts with another side of the electronic circuit. The electrical heat supporting element has a contact region that makes contact, in a first surface, with the insulative heat conductive spacer, and a supporting structure that supports the insulative heat conductive spacer to have a predetermined thickness, and diffuses heat generated by the electronic circuit from the contact region.
