  • Patent number: 7598969
Abstract: Correction tables store correction data. Based on the correction data, a linear interpolation circuit generates data in accordance with a data value of input image data. A latch circuit group latches each piece of output data of the linear interpolation circuit in synchronization with a rising edge of a block signal. A selector selects correction data based on an address signal and outputs the correction data to an adder circuit. The adder circuit adds delayed image data to the selected correction data, thus generating corrected image data. Accordingly, an error among channels, which is caused by phase expansion, can be corrected.

  • Patent number: 7573449
Abstract: To correct unevenness of brightness caused from unevenness in a cell gap, etc. with high accuracy. When unevenness of brightness of pixels is corrected by adding correction data corresponding to a pixel to image data specifying the brightness of the pixel, a plurality of vertical scan periods is used as a reference cycle, and during the respective vertical scan periods of the reference cycle, one of two data values between which a correction amount of the pixel is interposed is selected and the selected data value is output as correction data. At this time, the number of times when one of the two data values is supplied during the reference cycle is increased as the correction amount comes close to the one data value.

  • Publication number: 20090109204
Abstract: An electro-optical device includes a compensation device that applies a voltage to a data line over a compensation period from a first timing to a second timing in order to compensate for a decrease in electric potential of the data line that occurs at the first timing. The first timing is when the sampling switch is switched from a conductive state to a non-conductive state during a first horizontal scanning period. The second timing is when the sampling switch is switched from the non-conductive state to the conductive state during a second horizontal scanning period that comes following the first horizontal scanning period.

  • Publication number: 20090072792
Abstract: An internal-state estimating device of a secondary battery has an electric current detecting means, a secondary-battery terminal voltage detecting means, a running state judging means, an electric-current random-noise impressing means and a secondary-battery internal-state estimating means. The electric current detecting means detects an electric current for a vehicle drive motor and a load-motor as one of a total current thereof and each current thereof. The running state judging means judges a substantially constant vehicle-speed running state of a motor vehicle. The electric-current random-noise impressing means superimposes a random noise on a load-motor electric current when the running state judging means judges the substantially constant vehicle-speed running state.

  • Patent number: 7502006
Abstract: A liquid crystal device has a pixel electrode connected to a scanning line and a data line through a TFT, and an opposing electrode opposed to the pixel electrode with a liquid crystal sandwiched therebetween. An almost constant common potential LCcom is applied to the opposing electrode. When this common potential LCcom is adjusted, first, the common potential LCcom is adjusted to a potential Vcom?, which minimizes the variation amount of light emitted from the liquid crystal device in the course of displaying a specific image, and, second, the common potential LCcom is set to a potential V0, which is higher than the potential Vcom?. Thus, it is possible to select, in an easy procedure, a common potential which can suppress a flicker while reducing a direct current component applied to the electro-optical material.

  • Patent number: 7492342
Abstract: The electro-optical device having a driving circuit that detects the phase difference between a monitoring signal supplied in synchronization with a data signal and a reference pulse supplied in synchronization with an enable pulse. The driving circuit outputs the result as a phase difference signal. A first phase adjusting circuit roughly adjusts and a second phase adjusting circuit minutely adjusts the phase of the enable pulse. An adjustment control circuit, when the phase of the monitoring signal is delayed with respect to the reference pulse, controls the first circuit to advance the phase of the enable pulse and controls the second circuit to minutely adjust the phase to minimize the difference. When the phase of the monitor signal precedes that of the reference pulse, the adjustment control circuit controls the first circuit to delay the phase of the enable pulse and controls the second circuit to minutely adjust the phase to minimize the difference.

  • Patent number: 7402811
Abstract: When a semiconductor sensor element used for detecting high-energy x-rays and gamma rays and an amplifier are connected via wires, the capacitances vary depending on the wires, thereby causing a sensitivity variation. To solve this, a structure for making the capacitances uniform is proposed. If a staggered arrangement is used for high resolution, the capacitances by wiring are different from element to element, so dummy sensor mounting sections (2) are provided to electrode sections (3) to make the capacitance uniform. The width of the connection section is decreased depending on the wiring length so as to make the capacitance uniform.

  • Patent number: 7394243
Abstract: A proximity sensor 717 comprising a combination of an arbitrarily selected one of a plurality of types of detection end modules 707, a plurality of types of output circuit modules 709 and a plurality of types of outer shell cases 711. The detection end module 707 includes an integrated arrangement having a detection coil assembly (705, 701, 702) with the detection characteristic self-completed by a mask conductor 700 for reducing the conductor detection sensitivity in a specific peripheral area where the outer shell case is assumed to exist, and a detection circuit assembly (703) with the coil of the detection coil assembly as a resonance circuit element. The characteristics of the proximity sensor are completely adjusted before shipment. As a result, the adjustment of the characteristics which otherwise might be required each time is eliminated even in the case of the combination with an outer shell case of a different material.
