  • Patent number: 4272702
Abstract: A fluorescent lamp constituted by joining a pair of shells of glass that at least one of the shells is molded. A recess is formed on a portion of the jointing surface of the shells so as to become circular when the shells are overlapped each other. An exhaust tube and lead-in wires of electrode stem are hermetically fixed in the recess by adhering or by welding. An anode getter plate is arranged independently from an electric circuit including an electrode filament.

  • Patent number: 4271408
Abstract: A plurality of cellular concave mirror surfaces are formed on a plate-like reflector unit, and a plurality of light-emitting diodes are disposed on these cellular concave mirror surfaces to jointly form a colored light source. Connection wirings to be connected with a power supply source are provided on a substrate laminated with the reflector unit. A lamp base of a conventional type may be coupled to the substrate for being electrically connected to the wirings. This colored light source can provide a single or multiple color displays. Improved shadow pattern display can be provided by forming a complementary color pattern on a front cover lens. Letter, symbol or pattern display can be provided by selectively arranging light-emitting diodes on the reflector unit.

  • Patent number: 4234817
Abstract: A flat type fluorescent lamp comprises a molded plate glass in the form of an upside down dished plate and a flat plate sealed to the dished plate along the peripheral portions thereof. A pair of electrodes are mounted on the flat plate glass, spaced from the flat plate glass, through stems or connector pins and are sealed in the fluorescent lamp body. The fluorescent lamp requires no base so that the overall length thereof may be reduced.

  • Patent number: 4226929
Abstract: A photoreceptor of electrophotography having a flexibility and a sensitivity to electromagnetic wavelengths of a wide range extending as far as the red color region of the spectrum of light rays is produced by forming a layer of a halogen-doped Se-S alloy on a substrate and further forming on said layer a halogen-doped Se-Te alloy layer. The Se-S alloy contains sulfur in a weight ratio of 0.1 to 0.35 to the Se-S alloy. The Se-Te alloy contains tellurium in a weight ratio of 0.05 to 0.35 to the Se-Te alloy.

  • Patent number: 4160447
Abstract: A device for detecting the impedance of the skin of a human body as a change of electric current comprises a time limit circuit which permits actuation of the device only one time according to a signal detected. A searching bar is coupled to the time limit circuit and has a curved or bent portion near which a luminous element is disposed. This searching bar may have adjustable sensitivity.

  • Patent number: 4155351
Abstract: A medical cell holder for use in a device which detects the impedance of a human body to actuate an electronic circuit. The holder comprises an inner assembly containing an electronic circuit; and a metallic ornamental casing having a switch mechanism at one end thereof. A cell (i.e. a battery) and the assembly are contained in said casing with the cell and the electronic circuit connected in series through the switch mechanism. The casing constitutes one electrode, which is portable in hand and which provides electrical contact with a human body.
