    Abstract: An in-vehicle control system is equipped in a vehicle, and includes an image drawer, a reproduction controller and a voltage detector. The image drawer draws a pictorial measuring instrument as an image representing a measuring instrument related to travelling of the vehicle. The vehicle includes an audiovisual information output device and a reproduction signal generator. The audiovisual information output device outputs audiovisual information for an occupant in the vehicle. The reproduction signal generator generates a reproduction signal for causing the audiovisual information output device to output the audiovisual information. The reproduction controller reproduces the audiovisual information, stops reproduction of the audiovisual information, resumes the reproduction of the audiovisual information from a stop position of the reproduction of the audiovisual information, and transmits an instruction to the reproduction signal generator for generating the reproduction signal.

    Abstract: A lighting circuit (1) includes a controller integrated circuit (U1) for on and off control of a switching element (Q1), a transformer (T1) having a primary coil (T11) that is connected in series to the switching element and a secondary coil (T12), a first voltage supply circuit supplying a voltage that occurs across both ends of the primary coil to an LED module (2), and a second voltage supply circuit supplying a voltage induced in the secondary coil to a power source terminal (Vcc) when the switching element is on. A turns ratio N of the primary coil to the secondary coil satisfies Equation 1, where X1 V denotes a voltage that an AC power source supplies, Y V denotes the maximum value of a power source voltage of the control unit at which normal operation is guaranteed, and Z V denotes the minimum value of the power source voltage.

    Abstract: The present invention comprises a column support fixed to a deck cross member extending along a width of a vehicle; a steering column supported by the column support; a column bracket disposed about an axis of the steering column in such a manner as to widen toward a front part of the vehicle, both ends of the column bracket being fixed to a body of the vehicle; and knee absorbers disposed at both sides of the column bracket, each of the knee absorbers having a base end fixed to the deck cross member and a front end facing the knees of an occupant, the front end coming into contact with the knees of the occupant. When the vehicle crashes, the occupant and his or her knees move forward to collide with the column bracket. The column bracket, however, is not displaced since both ends of the column bracket are fixed to the body of the vehicle. The knees of the occupant are guided forward along the surface of the column bracket to the right and left knee absorbers.
