  • Patent number: 5885062
Abstract: A switching valve comprises a valve body to which a plurality of fluid passages are connected, a slider having a gas passage capable of selectively connecting two fluid passages, a balance port for letting the gas passage communicate with the outside of the slider, a pilot valve for opening and closing the balance port, a moving mechanism for moving the pilot valve and the slider as one body in a predetermined direction alone, and a forwardly and reversely rotatable motor unit for driving the slider to open the balance port, thereby canceling a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the slider and then moving the slider to switch the fluid passages.

  • Patent number: 5240389
Abstract: In a scroll type compressor, a revolving scroll having a disc portion and a blade portion is engaged with a stationary scroll having a disc portion and a blade portion. A gas is introduced from the outer peripheral portions of these scrolls and compressed in a pair of compression chambers defined between the scrolls, and a compressed gas is discharged. A first inlet and a second inlet, which are connected by a communication path, are formed at positions corresponding to the compression chambers, where the gas is compressed. Release means is provided between one of the compression chambers and a gas suction unit. The release means returns part of the gas in one of the compression chambers directly to, and part of the gas in the other compression chamber via the first and second inlets, the communication path and the one of the compression chambers to, the gas suction unit simultaneously by equal degrees.

  • Patent number: 5080566
Abstract: A fluid scroll machine comprises a fluid mechanism including first and second spiral blades located in a frame to eccentrically rotate and a compression chamber defined by the spiral blades, and an Oldham's coupling movably supported by the frame and including a ring-shaped plate having one side facing the first spiral blade and an axis center, a pair of first projections projected from the one side of the ring-shaped plate, and a pair of second projections projected from the one side of the ring-shaped plate. The first spiral blade includes a pair of first guide passages extended in a same direction as a first radial direction of the ring-shaped plate and into which the first projections are fitted to slide in a first radial direction of the plate. The second spiral blade includes a pair of second guide passages extended in a same direction as a second radial direction of the ring-shaped plate and into which the second projections are fitted to slide in the second radial direction of the plate.

  • Patent number: 5040952
Abstract: A scroll-type compressor includes a hermetic case in which a compression section having a pair of spiral scrolls and a motor section for driving the compression section are arranged. The motor section has a rotating shaft coupled to the compression section. A flow passage is formed in the shaft and communicates at its one end with the compression chamber of the compression section and at its other end with a muffler chamber defined above the motor section. An operating fluid compressed in the compression chamber is guided into the muffler chamber through the flow passage, flows around the motor section, and then is discharged from the case.

  • Patent number: 4929160
Abstract: A muffler chamber being defined by a circumferential side wall member integrally and perpendicularly extending from the upper surface of a stationary scroll member and a cup-shaped upper wall member supported by the circumferential side wall member in a sealing state. An exhausting pipe is pressed into an exhausting port formed in the circumferential side wall member under pressure to reduce soldering portions of muffler chamber.

  • Patent number: 4826408
Abstract: A two-cylinder rotary compressor includes a closed casing, a compression section, and an electric motor section, both arranged in the casing, for driving the compression section. The compression section comprises first and second assemblies. The first assembly is constructed by securing a first cylinder to a first bearing, in alignment therewith. The second assembly is constructed by securing a second cylinder to a second bearing, in alignment therewith. The first and second assemblies are aligned with and secured to each other while a partitioning plate is interposed between the first and second cylinders. First and second rollers are rotatably arranged in the first and second cylinders, respectively. These rollers are rotated by a rotational shaft which is supported by the first and second bearings and driven by the electric motor section.
