  • Publication number: 20070263244
Abstract: To meet a demand for changing a print medium size, particularly for increasing the size of print medium while at the same time satisfying the demand for higher printing speed. To that end, a plurality of printer units (116), which are spatially independent of each other (separate from each other) and also independent in the signal system and the ink system, are arranged in an appropriate layout to allow for a line-sequential printing. An information processing device (100) divides a generated image into a plurality of pieces of print data and transfers them to the plurality of printer units. A transport device (117) is installed to feed a large-sized print medium to an area where the plurality of printer units are arranged. The transport device transfers to each of the plurality of printer units a print timing signal corresponding to the position of each printer unit.

  • Patent number: 6662619
Abstract: A mold clamping device for a pressing machine which bends a plate material inserted between upper and lower molds. The mold clamping device comprises a main frame (1) of integral structure, a holding ram (13) mounted on the upper half of the mainframe (1) and for supporting the upper mold (8) for vertical movement, a pair of arch-type thick springs (6) vertically mounted on the upper half of the main frame, and a crank mechanism (10) with which the upper end of each of the arch-type thick spring is connected through a crank pin (17). The crank mechanism creates a rotational force at a position near the dead center of the crank pins (17). This rotational force resiliently deforms the arch-type thick springs (6) which in turn create a resilient force for pressing the upper mold (8) against the lower mold (9). This provides an accurate and stable clamping force between the upper and lower molds.

  • Patent number: 5612004
Abstract: In order to economically remove harmful components in exhaust gases by using a simple and extremely durable system, an exhaust gas to be treated is introduced into a neutralizing tower provided with a first duct and a second duct. Harmful components in the exhaust gas chemically react with a neutralizing agent randomly stacked within the neutralizing tower, and such components become deposited on the surface of the neutralizing agent. Water is supplied from a water supply pipe to the surface of the neutralizing agent by driving a pump after passage of a predetermined period of time, and the surface of the neutralizing agent is washed thereby. Additional exhaust gases are further fed and reacted with the neutralizing agent, which has a renewed surface exposed again. The neutralizing agent can thus be repeatedly used for removal of harmful components in the exhaust gases.

  • Patent number: 5515793
Abstract: An incineration furnace for disposal of waste in which substantially complete burning of waste materials is obtained. A stirring member is rotatably supported in the interior of an incinerator housing, making up the main incineration furnace body. Air for accelerating burning of the waste material is forcibly fed from a blower through the stirring member. The stirring member is rotated and driven through the inside of the housing by a motor. Waste is agitated and mixed between movable tubes provided on the stirring member, and by first and second fixed blades disposed in the incinerator housing, thereby facilitating burning and incineration of the waste material.

  • Patent number: 5376268
Abstract: A rotary filtering apparatus basically comprises a tank having inner surfaces comprising an upper part which is cylindrical and a lower part which is conical, wherein a diameter thereof decreases toward the lower part of the tank. A sintered metallic filter is centrally disposed in the tank, and a filter rotating mechanism is provided for rotating the sintered metallic filter in one direction. A fluid supply unit supplies polluted water (W1) to the inside of the tank, and a nozzle unit supplies high-pressure water (H) to the tank. A fluid suction unit draws clean water (W2) out of the central portion of the sintered metallic filter. A storage tank is mounted to the lower part of the tank, for storing therein particles separated from the polluted water (W1).

  • Patent number: 5151876
Abstract: A data register is provided through a column gate circuit in a ROM array in which font information is stored. Desired font information is read out as parallel data through the column gate circuit based on address information inputted to a row decoder and a column decoder. The data read out is stored once in the data register. Thereafter, the parallel data stored in the data register is outputted to a printing output circuit as serial data in synchronization with reception by a printing output circuit, thereby to perform printing processing. Consequently, font information to be printed need not be stored in a RAM or the like through a data bus, so that processing is simplified and the speed of a processing operation is increased.

  • Patent number: 5114331
Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for shrinking volumes of waste foamed plastics which have been used as packing materials. The waste plastic materials are thrown into a hopper provided on a crushing room having an opening in an upper part and tapering towards its lower part. A plurality of crushing vanes having a radius of gyration of length reaching within said hopper rotate in said crushing room, to break the foamed plastics into shreds. The broken plastics flow into a sending cylinder through a receipt opening toward the side wall of the crushing room, and are sent forward by screw vanes within the sending cylinder. Subsequently, the waste plastics are compressed in a compression cylinder connected in series to the sending cylinder and further softened and de-foamed by a heating cylinder and exhausted through a nozzle provided at the end of the housing cylinder. Extruded bar like shrinked resins are cut into chips by a rotating cutter and exhausted from the apparatus by air flow.
