    Abstract: According to one embodiment, an electronic apparatus includes a first housing, a second housing, a mounting portion, and a hinge. The mounting portion is provided in the first housing. The mounting portion includes a mounting surface, a first pin protruding from the mounting surface, and a receiver including an insertion groove. The hinge is attached to the second housing and includes a fixing portion. The fixing portion includes a main portion mounted on the mounting surface, an elongated hole provided in the main portion and configured to engage with the first pin, and an inserting portion configured to be inserted into the insertion groove and supported by the receiver from a side opposite to the mounting surface.

The electronic device includes a connection portion, and the connection portion has a contact portion and an elastic support portion which is extended to a part near the opening and supports the contact portion. The contact portion equalizes the potential of the shielding layer with the potential of the second conducting section by electrically connecting to the shielding layer by the opening, and contacting the second conducting section.

When the gasket is pressed and elastically deformed by the receptacle of a connector, the deformed portion of the gasket escapes through the cutout.
