A second laser source is positioned upon the face to emit a second laser beam that illuminates the object at a second point distinct from the first point, and a second detector is positioned upon the face to detect a second reflection of the second laser beam from the second point in order to determine a second length of the second laser beam, in various aspects. A user may selectively position the point and the second point upon the object. The second length may be determined simultaneously with the length.
