  • Patent number: 11443846
Abstract: A method can include receiving, at a server, preoperative image data of a patient's bone, and accessing, at the server, a database of three-dimensional model data. A patient specific three-dimensional model of the patient's bone can be generated, at the server. A preoperative surgical plan can be generated at the server, which can include comparing aspects of the preoperative surgical plan with predetermined reliability criteria. An interactive user interface for use by a surgeon to review the preoperative surgical plan can be provided, from the server, to a user device. Approval of the preoperative surgical plan can be received, at the server, via the interactive user interface. Postoperative image data of the patient's bone can be received at the server. A postoperative outcome study report can be generated, at the server, and can include a comparison of the preoperative surgical plan with the postoperative image data.

  • Patent number: 10835392
Abstract: A transdermal intraosseous device for coupling a bone stump to an external prosthetic device includes a bone fixator, an external connector and a plurality of modular interface components. The bone fixator includes a proximal portion configured for anchoring into the bone stump of the patient and a distal portion including a base collar configured for subcutaneous implantation. The external connector has a distal portion for coupling to the external prosthetic device and a proximal portion for coupling to the distal portion of the bone fixator. Each interface component can be removably coupled to the base collar and has different size and shape to provide a surgeon-selected transition between the prosthetic device and the patient's skin.

  • Publication number: 20170311846
Abstract: A method of imaging a body part includes locating a first, second and third anatomical reference area. The third anatomical reference area is disposed generally between the first and second anatomical reference areas. Furthermore, the method includes positioning a first member of a reference tool relative to the first anatomical reference area, positioning a second member of the reference tool relative to the second anatomical reference area, and a pivotal coupling member relative to the third anatomical reference area. The pivotal coupling member pivotally couples the first and second members of the reference tool. In addition, the method includes imaging a target area of the body part to produce an image. The image includes the target area of the body part and the first and second members. The first member indicates a first axis of the body part, and the second member indicates a second axis of the body part.
