Publication number: 20130221953Abstract: An absolute position recording device of a motor includes a main spindle, a magnetic ring, a magnetic induction unit, an encoder, a counter, and an operation unit. The magnetic ring and the encoder are fixed on and rotated by the main spindle. The magnetic induction unit outputs square waves and the encoder outputs sine or cosine waves. The counter receives the square waves and calculates a number of rotations of the magnetic ring. The operation unit receives the sine or cosine waves and calculates an angular deflection relative to a standard position of the magnetic ring. The operation unit adds the angular deflection and the number of rotations and calculates an absolute angular position.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 30, 2012Publication date: August 29, 2013Inventors: TSANN-HUEI CHANG, CHIH-JUNG LIU, CHENG-EN CHIEN

Publication number: 20090234898Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of generating a pulse for a digital differential analyzer. The digital differential analyzer includes a counter, a shift register and an adder with a comparator. The beginning number P of the shift register, the beginning number L of the comparator, and the beginning number Q of the counter, are all set, according to the formula Q=int(0.5L+0.5). A pulse command is inputted into the shift register. The number of the shift register and the number of the counter are added. The sum of the addition step is compared to the number of the comparator. If the sum is greater than or equal to the number of the comparator, the digital differential analyzer generates a pulse.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 5, 2008Publication date: September 17, 2009Applicant: FOXNUM TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD.Inventors: RONG-HWANG HORNG, WEI-DER TANG, YAW-SHEN LAI, CHAU-LIN CHANG, TSANN-HUEI CHANG

Publication number: 20090219015Abstract: An exemplary apparatus and method for measuring kinetic parameters of a machining tool within a press molding machine includes two magnets and two electrical conductors attached to a machining tool. The two magnets are fixed for producing two magnetic fields that are at an angle to each other. The two electrical conductors are connected to a controller to form two closed loops respectively. Each electrical conductor is located in a corresponding magnetic field and is unparallel to the direction of the corresponding magnetic field. Upon the condition that the machining tool deviates from its axial path, voltages are induced across the two electrical conductors. The controller receives the induced voltages, and determines a velocity of the machining tool's deviation from the axial path.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 17, 2008Publication date: September 3, 2009Applicant: FOXNUM TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD.Inventors: CHIEN-CHUN CHEN, TSANN-HUEI CHANG, HAN-CHIEH CHANG

Patent number: 6817774Abstract: Method and apparatus for automatically dynamically adjusting prestressed bearings of shaft are provided. The apparatus comprises a sleeve assembly having outer and inner sleeves sandwiched between the bearings. An inner diameter of outer sleeve is smaller than an outer diameter of inner sleeve. Hence, outer and inner sleeves are fitted together after cooling. Further, inner sleeve is compressed by the outer sleeve to extend axially. During rotation of shaft, the axial extension of inner sleeve is reduced because the radial expansion of outer sleeve is larger than that of inner sleeve due to an thermal expansion coefficient of outer sleeve larger than that of inner sleeve. This can reduce prestress of bearings without degrading a rigidity thereof.Type: GrantFiled: December 27, 2001Date of Patent: November 16, 2004Assignee: Industrial Technology Research InstituteInventors: Jinn-Fa Wu, Tsann-Huei Chang, Kuan-Wen Chen
