  • Patent number: 4993933
Abstract: The molding installation includes a molding area where a molding apparatus for effecting the molding with a die is disposed; a maintenance area adapted to subject the die to maintenance work and disposed adjacent to the molding area; a die position shifting apparatus adapted to shift a position of the die and disposed between the molding area and the maintenance area; and a carriage adapted to exchange the die for another in the molding apparatus and disposed on a passage connecting between the molding apparatus and the die position shifting apparatus. The die position shifting apparatus is designed capable of shifting a die position of the die to the die position required in the molding area or in the maintenance area without any labor of workers. This arrangement in the molding installation permits a full automation of a series of operations including the die exchanging operation, the die conveyance operation for conveying the die into or from the molding apparatus and the die position shifting operation.

  • Patent number: 4818657
Abstract: The present invention relates to a liquid developer for electrostatic latent image, comprising the following components (a), (b) and (c) which are dispersed in an electrical resistive aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent:(a) a non-gel copolymer which as a whole is insoluble in the solvent and which consists essentially of a copolymer segment soluble in the solvent and a polymer segment insoluble in the solvent, the solvent-soluble copolymer segment containing as main monomer components an alkyl acrylate or an alkyl methacrylate and a cycloalkyl acrylate or a cyckloalkyl methacrylate and/or an aralkyl acrylate or an aralkyl methacrylate, and the solvent-insoluble polymer segment containing vinyl acetate as a main monomer component;(b) a coloring agent; and(c) a dispersant.

  • Patent number: 4336410
Abstract: Cyclohexene can be advantageously separated from a mixture containing as main components benzene, cyclohexene and cyclohexane by a process wherein said mixture is brought into contact with a type X aluminosilicate zeolite, which has been ion-exchanged with a silver ion, as an adsorbent, whereby cyclohexene is selectively adsorbed thereon, and then, cyclohexene is desorbed therefrom. The desorption of cyclohexene is preferably carried out by using a desorbent, such as an alkylbenzene having 7 or 8 carbon atoms in the molecule.

  • Patent number: 4313014
Abstract: In the separation of cyclohexene from a feed which contains cyclohexene and cyclohexane, the feed is contacted with a type X and/or type Y aluminosilicate zeolite, thereby adsorbing cyclohexene selectively on the zeolite, and then the zeolite which adsorbed cyclohexene is contacted with a trimethylbenzene to desorb cyclohexene.

  • Patent number: 4108895
Abstract: A novel process for preparing cycloalkanone oximes is disclosed. The process comprises(1) contacting a nitrogen compound selected from the group consisting of nitrogen oxides or nitrosyl compounds with an aqueous or an alcoholic solution containing stannous, copper and chlorine ions to prepare hydroxylamine,(2) allowing a cycloalkanone to react with the hydroxylamine to form an cycloalkanone oxime,(3) separating the cycloalkanone oxime from the reaction mixture by extraction with an organic solvent at a pH of less than 4.5,(4) recovering the cycloalkanone oxime from the extract of the step (3),(5) treating the raffinate of the step (3) under a reducing condition for conversion of stannic ion formed in the step (1) to stannous ion, and(6) recycling the stannous ion to the step (1)The process does not produce ammonium salt as a by-product because the cycloalkanone oxime can be separated from the reaction mixture without neutralization.
