  • Patent number: 10805229
Abstract: In an embodiment, an apparatus is provided that may include circuitry to generate, at least in part, and/or receive, at least in part, at least one request that at least one network node generate, at least in part, information. The information may be to permit selection, at least in part, of (1) at least one power consumption state of the at least one network node, and (2) at least one time period. The at least one time period may be to elapse, after receipt by at least one other network node of at least one packet, prior to requesting at least one change in the at least one power consumption state. • Publication number: 20170286114
Abstract: A processor of an aspect includes a decode unit to decode memory access instructions of a first type and to output corresponding memory access operations, and to decode memory access instructions of a second type and to output corresponding memory access operations. The processor also includes a load store queue coupled with the decode unit. The load store queue includes a load buffer that is to have a plurality of load buffer entries, and a store buffer that is to have a plurality of store buffer entries. The load store queue also includes a buffer entry allocation controller coupled with the load buffer and coupled with the store buffer. The buffer entry allocation controller is to allocate load and store buffer entries based at least in part on whether memory access operations correspond to memory access instructions of the first type or of the second type. Other processors, methods, and systems, are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9098705
Abstract: A method, apparatus and system enable a temporary partition on a host to be isolated. More specifically, a temporary partition may be initialized in a partitioned host, assigned its own security policy and given the necessary resources to complete a task. Thereafter, the temporary partition may be dismantled. Since the temporary partition is isolated from the remaining partitions on the host, the temporary partition may be allowed to run a “weaker” security policy than the rest of the partitions because the isolation of the temporary partition ensures that the security of the remaining partitions may remain uncompromised.

Inventors: Tsung-Yuan Charles Tai, Kapil Sood
  • Patent number: 9015510
Abstract: Systems and methods may provide for aggregating a first idle duration from a first device associated with a platform and a second idle duration from a second device associated with the platform. Additionally, an idle state may be selected for the platform based at least in part on the first idle duration and the second idle duration. In one example, the idle durations are classified as deterministic, estimated or statistical.

  • Publication number: 20150023337
Abstract: Some demonstrative embodiments include devices, systems and/or methods of selectively aborting reception of wireless communication packets. For example, a receiver may at least partially process a portion of a wireless communication packet, to determine based on the portion of the communication packet whether the packet is intended to be received by the receiver and, if the packet is not intended to be received by the receiver, to abort processing of a remainder of the communication packet by one or more components of a physical layer of the receiver. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
