  • Patent number: 9853518
Abstract: This cantilevered-shaft electric motor has no bearing on the load side, and since there also is no end bracket, which is present in ordinary electric motors, the internal stator and rotor are in an unprotected state in a bare state. The present invention provides a cantilevered-shaft electric motor that prevents damage to the stator and rotor during transport, causes handling properties during transport and during coupling to a load side to be favorable, and prevents contaminants from infiltrating. The cantilevered-shaft electric motor is provided with: a stator that is affixed at the inner diameter side of a housing; and a rotor that is rotatably borne disposed facing the inner peripheral side of the stator. The cantilevered-shaft electric motor has a structure such that the rotor is provided with a bearing at the reverse side from the load and the shaft at the load side is supported at an apparatus side.

  • Patent number: 9431879
Abstract: To uniformly cool down armature windings along the circumferential direction of a stator in a generator motor. A generator motor includes a stator 1 fixed to the inner diameter side of a housing 18, a rotor 130 rotatably supported by bearings 5, and armature windings wound around the teeth of a stator core 110. Each of brackets 200 provided via the bearings 5 has a passage 201, 202 through which cooling oil flows and injection holes 204 which communicate with the passage and inject cooling oil at positions opposite to winding ends of the armature windings. Cooling oil is injected toward the winding ends of the armature windings from the injection holes 204 of the brackets 200 arranged on opposite axial sides of a shaft 6. In the flow rate distribution of the oil from the plurality of the injection holes 204, the flow rate of the oil from any of the injection holes 204 is set to be greater as the position of the injection hole 204 is higher above the level of the shaft 6.

  • Patent number: 6980853
Abstract: An apparatus is provided which allows a subject to determine by himself/herself whether or not he/she is apt to develop a deep-vein thrombosis in a region of a lower limb in a simple manner. A variation between the bioelectric impedance values measured respectively before and after a posture change is compared with a reference value. The posture change includes a bending and stretching exercise, a bending and stretching in knees in a seated position and a repeating of standing-up and sitting-down motion. Alternatively, a blood storage capacity of the lower limb region may be estimated from a gradient of bioelectric impedance represented by a variation thereof per unit time to determine whether or not the subject is apt to develop deep-vein thrombosis in the lower limb region.

  • Publication number: 20030163061
Abstract: An apparatus is provided which allows a subject to determine by himself/herself whether or not he/she has a status apt to develop a deep-vein thrombosis in a region of lower limb in a simple manner. A subject is instructed to change his/her body orientation from one to another so as to apply a load to muscles in the lower limb region and thereby to force the blood having stored in the lower limb deep-vein to be circulated entirely across the body by a muscular pumping action. By measuring the bioelectric impedance at this time, a transfer of body fluid (blood) within the body can be captured. A motion for changing the posture includes a bending and stretching exercise, a bending and stretching in knees in a seated position and a repeating of standing-up and sitting-down motion, and a variation between the bioelectric impedance values measured respectively before and after such a posture change is compared with a reference value.

  • Patent number: 5892982
Abstract: An external expansion bus interface circuit is provided for connecting a peripheral to a micro control unit to exchange digital information under an external expansion memory mode of the micro control unit. For this purpose, the eternal expansion bus interface circuit includes a means for storing a writing data. Address decoder and a strobe decoder are connected to the micro control unit to directly receive the writing data, an address strobe, and a write strobe. Then the address decoder and strobe decoder produce a write enable signal for enabling the memory to store the data at address designated thereby.

  • Patent number: 5740323
Abstract: There is provided an inference knowledge extracting apparatus capable of being adapted to a change of input/output data. In a fuzzy rule individual group storing section is stored a group of individuals having a gene string associated with a fuzzy rule of a fuzzy rule storing section by a fuzzy rule gene associating section. A fuzzy rule individual selecting section stochastically selects individuals having a small output error with respect to the input/output data based on a calculation result of fitness obtained by an individual fitness calculating section. A fuzzy rule individual gene manipulating section executes a gene manipulating operation on each individual selected by the individual fitness calculating section.

  • Patent number: 5493455
Abstract: A memory is provided in a tape cassette and it consists of a program information area for recording information on each program recorded on a tape and a tape information area for recording information on the entire tape. If this tape cassette is used by a video cassette recorder having a full function to drive the memory and by a video cassette recorder having a limited function to drive it, the program information recorded in the memory is consistent with the programs actually recorded on the tape. For example, a tape erasing prevention flag is set in the tape information area, while a program erasing prevention flag is set for each program in the program information area. In a different example, a tape inconsistency flag is set in the tape information area, while a program inconsistency flag is set for each program in the program information area. The data in the memory can be corrected by using such flags according to the programs actually recorded on the tape.
