Abstract: In a display device, the display unit chassis is configured by including a peripheral wall section which is disposed to cover the circumference of a liquid crystal panel, and a bezel case section which is disposed between the liquid crystal panel and the peripheral wall section in a state of covering a surface of a peripheral edge of the liquid crystal panel, side-edge sections whose engagement is limited only to the liquid crystal panel are disposed on both of left and right sides of the bezel case section.
