  • Patent number: 8556467
Abstract: A light unit includes a tubular part, a shade, a collar, a connector, a circuit board unit and a cover. The tubular part has a flange with multiple first holes and multiple outer fins are located on the outside of the tubular part. A lip extends from the top opening of the shade and second holes are defined through the lip. The shade is mounted to the tubular part to rest the lip on the flange. The collar further has third holes and is mounted to the tubular part. The connector is fixed to the top of the tubular part and Light Emitting Diodes are connected to the circuit board unit and located in the tubular part. The cover is connected to the lower end of the shade. The heat generated by the Light Emitting Diodes is released via the first, second and third holes.

  • Patent number: 8004168
Abstract: A light assembly includes a bulb connected to the passage defined through the base and the base includes a plurality of first slots defined transversely in an outer periphery of the base. A base cover has a space for receiving the base and multiple ventilation holes are defined through a wall of the base cover. A plurality of engaging pieces extend from an inner periphery of the base cover and are engaged with the first slots of the base. The heat generated from the bulb escaped via the ventilation holes.

  • Patent number: 7494240
Abstract: A lighting fixture assembly includes a base having a plate and a peripheral wall which has recesses defined in an inner periphery thereof. The plate has connection slots in which V-shaped clamp members are respectively received. Each clamp member has a C-shaped connection end which includes an opening and two extensions extend from two ends of the connection end at an angle. Two parts each have an insertion and a frame is connected on the insertion. Each frame is connected with light tubes thereon. Each insertion has protrusions for being engaged with the recesses and positioning rods for being slidably inserted through the connection slots and engaged with the V-shaped clamp members. The two parts can be replaced by different shapes of parts.

  • Patent number: 6976767
Abstract: An illumination device includes a plurality of light tubes arranged in a substantially V-shaped manner, and at least one reflector located adjacent to the light tubes. The reflector has a semi-circular shape directed in an axial direction of the light tubes. Thus, the light reflected from the reflector is not directed toward the incident direction of the light tubes, so that the light reflected from the reflector is projected outward in a straight manner without being blocked and sheltered by the light tubes, thereby decreasing the optical loss to the minimum.
