  • Publication number: 20220401310
Abstract: The present invention is an enteral nutrition gastrostomy access device. A permanent or semi-permanent stoma liner is adjustably positioned within a stoma channel extending through a patient's abdominal and stomach walls. The stoma liner is characterized by an adjustable bladder capable of applying variable torsional force to one or more pinch points along the interface between the stoma liner and the stoma. The stoma liner is configured to receive a plug with a central threaded channel, into which a cap or enteral feeding device may be wholly or partially inserted. The central threaded channel is characterized by requiring application of a linear push force to apply but requiring application of both a linear pull force and a torsional force to remove.

  • Patent number: 11426037
Abstract: An adjustable bathroom handrail assembly is provided with a pair of elongate vertical handles with mounting hardware to mount to an upright support surface and spaced apart from the upright support surface. An adjustable horizontal bar extends between the pair of vertical handles, and a locking mechanism connects the at least one adjustable horizontal bar and one of the pair of elongate vertical handles. A locking mechanism is located at an intersection of the horizontal bar and the one of the elongate vertical handles. A method for installing and adjusting wall-mount hardware installs a pair of elongate vertical handles to an upright support surface. The ends of a horizontal bar are installed onto the pair of elongate vertical handles. A locking mechanism on the horizontal bar is disengaged to adjust the horizontal bar to a location along the pair of elongate vertical handles.

  • Patent number: 11324365
Abstract: A handle assembly and a method of installing the handle assembly are provided. The handle assembly has first and second mounts, and a handle with a handle portion extending between and connecting first and second end regions. The first and second end regions are received for translation along the longitudinal axis within the first and second mounts. First and second locking elements are connected to the first mount, and the handle, respectively. The handle has a first longitudinal position with the first and second locking elements engaged to retain the handle in one of a plurality of angular positions. The handle has a second longitudinal position with the first and second locking elements spaced apart from one another such that the handle and the second locking element are rotatable to change an angular position of the handle relative to the first and second mounts.

  • Publication number: 20170274950
Abstract: An adjustable-width saddle includes a frame having a forward end and a rearward end, the rearward end including a laterally extending bridge, and a one-piece shell. The one-piece shell includes a forward end connected to the forward end of the frame, and a split rearward end including a first rider support and a second rider support that are supported at least in part by the bridge. The rider supports are laterally separated from the second rider support by a lateral gap that is adjustable by flexure of the one-piece shell. A lower side of each rider support defines a first channel that receives the bridge. Fasteners extend through one or more slots formed through the bridge and engage the rider supports to fix the gap at a selected width.
