  • Patent number: 9180534
Abstract: The invention relates to double trimming shears having a stationary bottom knife and a driven top knife which can be raised and lowered, wherein the top knife is arranged on a top knife carriage (12) guided by means of a carriage guide (10), wherein a first eccentric shaft (14) and a second eccentric shaft (16) on the carriage guide (10) is provided in order to guide the carriage guide (10) if an inclined position of the top knife carriage is to be prevented. This is achieved in that the first eccentric shaft (14) and the second eccentric shaft (16) are interconnected via a synchronization means (18).

  • Patent number: 8997613
Abstract: With known trimming shears having a pair of scrap-cutting blades on the discharge side, the moving upper scrap-cutting blade must be moved as closely as possible past the trimmed plate edge in order to push the cutoff edge still hanging on the plate downward against the lower fixed scrap-cutting blade, which requires precise adjustment of the upper scrap-cutting blade. To that end, according to the invention, the distance between the upper scrap-cutting blade (2) or the lower scrap-cutting blade (3) and the trimming blade plane (5) is set prior to trimming in accordance with the thickness of each heavy plate (10) to be trimmed by displacement of the upper scrap-cutting blade (2) and/or the lower scrap-cutting blade (3) in a displacement direction with at least one component transverse to the trimming blade plane (5).

  • Publication number: 20130220093
Abstract: The invention relates to a guide device (1000) for a blade (322) having a slide (320) for receiving the blade (322) and a slide guide (330) and a glide element 300 between the slide guide (330) and the slide (320). A cooling device (205) is arranged for cooling the glide element (300). According to the invention, the cooling device (205) is designed as at least a closed cooling channel (210) or as an open cooling channel (209) having at least one inlet (215, 216) and one outlet (215, 216) for a cooling medium.

  • Patent number: 8225703
Abstract: A hold-down device for plate shears configured to, be pressed down onto a plate to be cut by a mechanically controlled, non-variable displacement. A hold-down device, which can be altered in terms of the pressing force and consequently permits a longer edge life and shorter displacements, and in turn lower indexing times. The starting position of the hold-down device is set before the beginning of the displacement.
