  • Patent number: 7015287
Abstract: Compositions based on propylene polymers (compositions (C)) comprising: a) from 61 to 74% by weight of a random propylene copolymer (copolymer (A)) comprising from 8 to 16% by weight of monomer units derived from 1-butene and less than 0.5% by weight of monomer units derived from ethylene, and b) from 39 to 26% by weight of a random propylene copolymer (copolymer (B)) comprising from 35 to 50% by weight of monomer units derived from 1-butene and from 0 to 1% by weight of monomer units derived from ethylene. Process for the manufacture of these compositions.

  • Patent number: 5948547
Abstract: Compositions based on propylene polymers (compositions (C)) comprising:from 68 to 80% by weight of a statistical propylene copolymer (copolymer (A)) which contains from 12 to 20% by weight of units derived from 1-butene and from 0 to 2% by weight of units derived from ethylene, andfrom 20 to 32% by weight of a statistical propylene copolymer (copolymer (B)) which contains from 0 to 15% by weight of units derived from 1-butene and from 1 to 8% by weight of units derived from ethylene.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 11, 1996
Date of Patent: September 7, 1999
    Assignee: Solvay Polyolefins-Europe-Belgium
Inventors: Raymond Mikielski, Veerle Deblauwe, Mathieu Wilkin
  • Patent number: 5895803
Abstract: Statistical propylene copolymer containing 0.2-0.9% by weight monomeric units derived from ethylene; 13-21% by weight monomeric units derived from .alpha.-olefin having 4-10 carbon atoms, and 78.1-86.8% by weight monomeric units derived from propylene. The copolymer has a melting point of 115-125.degree. C.; a proportion of polymer soluble in boiling heptane greater than or equal to 95% by weight, and a proportion of polymer soluble in cold xylene (25.degree. C.) greater than 40% by weight.

    Assignee: Solvay Polyolefins Europe-Belgium
Inventors: Veerle Deblauwe, Antonio Belforte, Mathieu Wilkin
  • Patent number: 5677068
Abstract: Composition containing, per 100 parts by weight of propylene polymer, from 0.05 to 5 parts by weight of a crystalline aluminosilicate exhibiting a water adsorption capacity, at 25.degree. C. and at a water vapour partial pressure of 4.6 torr, of less than 10% by weight. Object manufactured from this composition.
