The positioning arrangement comprises a positioning organ, arranged to position a drill rod with a length axis, and a displacement arrangement with a first portion and a second portion, the first portion being connected to the positioning organ and the second portion being connectable to a base part. The displacement arrangement is arranged to displace the positioning organ from a first position to a second position via a translational displacement, such that a length axis of a drill rod positioned by the positioning organ will be substantially aligned with the drill hole axis in the second position.
