  • Publication number: 20210187773
Abstract: A system and method relating to a slicer system, the slicer system includes a slicer that includes a slider blade, a first motor configured to rotate the slicer blade, an in-feed table configured to hold the product and move, while the product is sliced by the slicer blade; an out-feed table configured to receive a sliced portion of a product, in response to the slicer blade slicing the product, at least one second motor, each of the at least one second motor configured to move the out-feed table in at least one direction; and at least one processor configured to cause the sliced portion of the product to be received on the out-feed table in a predetermined shape by controlling the at least one second motor to move the out-feed table while the slicer is slicing the product.

  • Patent number: 10710180
Abstract: A saw with a monitoring and safety system that utilizes vision and sensors designed to provide user feedback on safety and training. The saw having a wheel formed of an anodized main body with a non-anodized surface extending along the circumference of the groove of the wheel. The saw having low inertial energy design to stop the blade without mechanically grabbing the blade assuring multiple points of safety detection and triggering. The saw having an automatic guard to protect the user from slipping and hitting the blade even when the saw is not running. The saw being connected to a cloud based system that enables a safer ecosystem and cross statistic sharing of safety parameters.

  • Patent number: 10562037
Abstract: Disclosed is a data logging apparatus comprising a mixer grinder which includes a tub configured to hold a product, a rotatable shaft, at least one mixing blade connected to the rotatable shaft, a grinding chamber, and a feed screw leading to a grinding head. The data logging apparatus includes a first temperature sensor attached to the tub, a second temperature sensor attached to the grinding chamber at an outlet downstream from the grinding head, a memory storing a predetermined temperature threshold, and a processor. The processor is configured to receive temperature data transmitted from the first temperature sensor and the second temperature sensor, determine whether an abnormality has occurred based on received temperature data and the predetermined temperature threshold, and issue an alert indicative of machine malfunction or maintenance issues.

  • Publication number: 20190234559
Abstract: A system and method relating to a saw system, the saw system including a saw blade configured for cutting, a shaft connected to the saw blade, a motor configured to rotate the saw blade by rotating the shaft, and at least one processor configured to control the motor. The saw system further comprising a detector configured to detect when a body part of a person is adjacent to or touching the saw blade. The at least one processor is configured to control the motor to stop rotation of the saw blade in response to the detector detecting that the body part is adjacent to or touching the saw blade. The saw blade including at least one hole that is filled with a weight-reduction insert.
