  • Patent number: 11093898
Abstract: The present invention discloses a solution for handling text exchange input in a composite service environment. The method can included a step of conveying text exchange input to an ACM engine. The ACM engine can map the text exchange input to field and variable values of a component services application. A memory of the composite service environment can be updated using the mapping results. Specifically, field and variable values can be updated that are stored in the memory for a session of the component services application for which the text exchange input was provided.

  • Patent number: 10255795
Abstract: A method of identifying incidents using mobile devices can include receiving a communication from each of a plurality of mobile devices. Each communication can specify information about a detected sound. Spatial and temporal information can be identified from each communication as well as an indication of a sound signature matching the detected sound. The communications can be compared with a policy specifying spatial and temporal requirements relating to the sound signature indicated by the communications. A notification can be selectively sent according to the comparison.

  • Patent number: 10235505
Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for enforcing licensing terms when distributing content via a container image running in a container. Upon receiving a request for a service from the container by the isolation code, where the isolation code limits, accounts and isolates resource usage of process groups, the commerce code application programming interfaces (APIs) of the isolation code read a key of the container. The key contains licensing terms applied to the component(s) (e.g., applications) of the container. The commerce code APIs will then confirm that the container is in compliance with those licensing terms. If the container is in compliance with the licensing terms, the container will be allowed to execute. Otherwise, the container will be prevented from executing. In this manner, the commerce code APIs can enforce the licensing terms, including restrictions and enforcement of payment to the licensor upon distributing content in the container.

  • Patent number: 10216856
Abstract: In an approach for adjusting a web application to comply with user interface capabilities of a device type, a processor monitors usage patterns of a web application by a user, including monitoring device type. The processor monitors input and output network communication data of a resource of a web application. The processor converts the monitored network data to Extensible Markup Language Schema (XSD), and updates documentation of the resource of the web application with the converted data. The processor further receives user interface capabilities of a device type and analyzes a web application for compatibility with the user interface capabilities of the device type. Based on the compatibility analysis, at least one user interface element is be modified within presentation of the web application on the device type. A processor generates a version of the web application compatible with the user interface capabilities of the device type.

  • Patent number: 10120801
Abstract: Method and system are provided for object caching with mobility management for mobile data communication. The method may include: intercepting and snooping data communications at a base station between a user equipment and a content server without terminating communications; implementing object caching at the base station using snooped data communications; implementing object caching at an object cache server in the network, wherein the object cache server proxies communications to the content server from the user equipment; and maintaining synchrony between an object cache at the base station and an object cache at the object cache server.

  • Patent number: 10097440
Abstract: In an approach for adjusting presentation of user interface (UI) elements in a webpage, a processor monitors usage of a webpage by one or more users. A processor determines at least one UI element to be modified within presentation of the webpage, based on at least one predefined rule and the monitored usage of the webpage by the one or more users. A processor generates a version of the webpage comprising the at least one UI element, as modified within the presentation of the webpage.

  • Patent number: 10089283
Abstract: Mechanisms are provided for mobile enablement of webpages (e.g., HTML webpages). In one example, mechanisms are provided for refactoring Java Server Pages “JSP” of a web application into an abstraction layer that partitions the visual presentation elements of HTML pages of the web application into a set of views and a Javascript home page. Further, mechanisms are provided for enabling access to the HTML pages over a mobile device by stacking views one atop another (in one specific example, the views may be rendered only one view at a time as needed; in another specific example any number of views (e.g., all of the views) may be rendered at once). Further, mechanisms are provided for enabling navigation between the views for the HTML pages by providing buttons along with each view.
