Publication number: 20230403574Abstract: A method performed by a central node for controlling an exploration strategy associated to Reinforcement Learning, RL, in one or more RL modules in a distributed node in a Radio Access Network, RAN, is provided. The central node evaluates a cost of actions performed for explorations in the one or more RL modules, and a performance of the one or more RL modules. Based on the evaluation, the central node determines one or more exploration parameters associated to the exploration strategy. The central node controls the exploration strategy by configuring the one or more RL modules with the determined one or more exploration parameters to update its exploration strategy, enforcing the respective one or more RL modules to act according to the updated exploration strategy to produce data samples for the one or more RL modules in the distributed node.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 28, 2020Publication date: December 14, 2023Applicant: Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson (publ)Inventors: Yu WANG, Wenfeng HU, Vidit SAXENA, Pablo SOLDATI

In a further aspect, the user equipment (12) can receive an index indication corresponding to an index from the set of multiple indices from the base station (10).Type: ApplicationFiled: February 3, 2017Publication date: February 21, 2019Inventors: Vidit Saxena, Johan Bergman, Yufei Blankenship, Xingqin Lin

Publication number: 20190045552Abstract: The disclosure pertains to a terminal for a Radio Access Network, the terminal being adapted for transmitting Uplink Control Information, UCI. Transmitting UCI comprises repeating the UCI for a number of repetitions, the number of repetitions being determined based on a Random Access CHannel Coverage Enhancement Level, PRACH CE level. The disclosure also pertains to related methods and devices.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 6, 2017Publication date: February 7, 2019Inventors: Yufei Blankenship, Vidit Saxena, Anders Wallén, Johan Bergman
