  • Publication number: 20240105070
Abstract: Said method for determining aircraft landing runway conditions comprises the steps of: acquiring a set of data groups of different types (D1, D2) for evaluating and monitoring runway degradation conditions; deriving weighting coefficients (Ki) from each data group; filtering the data; determining, for each data group, a partial runway condition; modifying the weighting coefficients of each data group; and combining the partial runway conditions to derive a runway condition coefficient (RWYCC) associated with a confidence index (C1) derived from the modified weighting coefficients.

  • Patent number: 11814579
Abstract: The invention relates to a composition C which comprises, in an aqueous medium M: surfactants suitable for creating a foam in the presence of a gas; and polymers P based on acrylamide or acrylamido units, having a molecular mass of 1,000,000 to 20,000,000 g/mol; or: composition C has a viscosity of less than 6 mPa·s; and the content of polymer P is greater than the concentration limit beyond which the apparent viscosity of a foam obtained from composition C is greater by at least 10% than the apparent viscosity of a foam obtained from the same composition but deprived of polymers. The invention further relates to the use of these compositions as foaming compositions for EOR.

  • Publication number: 20210171821
Abstract: The invention relates to aqueous formulations suitable as extraction fluid in enhanced oil recovery, which comprise: at least one surfactant; and at least one associative polymer, such as obtained by micellar radical polymerization by bringing into contact, in an aqueous medium: hydrophilic monomers, dissolved or dispersed in the aqueous medium; hydrophobic monomers in the form of a micellar solution; and at least one radical polymerization initiator; and preferably at least one radical polymerization control agent.

  • Publication number: 20160367989
Abstract: A process for handling an element consisting of a first fluid transported by a second fluid that is immiscible with the first fluid in a cavity having at least one wall of which is made of a deformable material. The second fluid and the element of the first fluid are introduced into the cavity. A local deformation of the deformable material of the cavity is ordered and at least one other portion of the deformable material of the cavity not being deformed. A portion of the deformable material forming the cavity is locally deformed to at least partially obstruct the passage of the element introduced into the cavity without obstructing the passage of the second fluid. The element in the cavity is moved to the outside of the deformed portion of the cavity.

  • Publication number: 20160082365
Abstract: A device for configuring a multiphase fluid consisting of at least two immiscible phases on either side of separation surfaces. A chamber to contain a multiphase fluid. A temperature gradient generator to generate a temperature gradient along the chamber to vary the surface tension of the separation surfaces along the chamber and to cause at least one of the phases of the multiphase fluid to move. An extractor to extract the multiphase system. Preferably, the temperature gradient generator includes at least one electrical resistor formed on the surface of the chamber to provide a variable heat density along the wall of the chamber.
